The main protagonists are female, but you are watching them through the eyes of the mysterious… player of the game. During the first episodes, all you can do is watch. But maybe, one day, you will be able to meet them in person. They may want to study you!

It contains the full, new episode 7. There are about 450 new images in it and 12 new animations. Dutch translation is included.

Episode 7 is the end of season 1 of Venus Attracts. I have decided to put the development of season 2 on hold until further notice. I may, however, make an epilogue somewhere in the near future.

When you arrive in the club, there are many choices. The girls are going everywhere and you may want to see what they are doing. It’s impossible to see it all in one go, so it’s advised to save before you go a specific way. If you want to see everything Nat is doing, but you can’t, make sure you received the proper clearance in episode 6.

There are two different endings to the episode.

Does not contain any new content, compared to version 0.6.1. Only some nagging typos and a few off images were changed. If you have played 0.6.1 you probably won’t notice it. There is one big thing, though. It is now fully bilingual, both English and… Dutch.

Being Dutch myself it started to bother me that it was not possible to play the game in my own language. So I added a translation. No machine thing, but a fully handmade, 100% authorized translation made by the author himself. I really don’t know why I’m telling you this in English.

Full episode 6, consisting of 353 new images and 10 animations (movie files).

Major overhaul of the almanac: updated texts and images (all), three new entries. I’ve made it easier to find your way out.

Update of the GUI, including a new starting image and easier to read text.

Some refurbishments in earlier episodes: 68 new images and 3 updated or new animations in episode 1, 62 new images in episode 2. These images mostly replace older images, but the total amount of images has significantly grown.

Some small changes in the coding and the text. Nothing big, though.

Version 0.6.1 is a major update. In episode 6 of our story, some important steps are taken that will lead to the middle part of the game. You will find important new information about you, the player of the game. One new character is introduced, Thea. If she worries you a bit, I can tell that I doubt if she will play an essential role in the future of the game. That, of course, might be bad news if you feel attracted to her.

I found some images in the early part of the game that I can really do better now. I decided to do a small overhaul, focussing on the low hanging fruit. I’m not ashamed of these images, but well, they are the first one gets to see. So it’s worth it to make them better, to appeal to first-time players. If you play only the new episode, you won’t notice any of it. If you decide to play the game from the beginning, you may still encounter some awkward pictures. That is either because they were to much work to recreate now or because I fucked them up for the second, third or n-th time.

I realise that, in a year or so, the images I make today can probably be done better too. I won’t keep overhauling forever. Venus Attracts is my first visual novel. I’m OK if it will once be referred to as an early work .

I made a new title image of the game that, in my view, does better justice to the atmosphere of the game. In the game itself you may encounter images similar to the old title image. That will be changed in due time.

There is a full episode 5, consisting of a staggering amount of 381 new images, 22 animations and 2 mailbox-items, making it the largest update since the prologue

However, you won’t be able to see all images and animations in one run, since there are choices. I won’t tell you what’s the best moment to let them have their tea or how far you should let them go when… oops, almost spoiled it there. Anyway, have fun.

Added episode 4, consisting of 267 new images, 10 new animations, 2 new mailbox items and 1 changed almanac item.

The textbox is made transparent, so more of the pictures is visible without having to use the H-button.

A bug that made it impossible to turn off Nat’s snoring in episode 2 has been resolved.

I have made some small changes in the text of previous episodes, mainly to make a better connection between the episodes. Nothing big though.

Those who don’t like to see dicks in a porn game (some do, apparently) are advised to watch Gerti in the Library, not Nat, and not to peep in the shower.

I have made a few small changes to episode 1, the prologue:

The procedure where you have to enter your nickname should be clearer now;
Five brand new images have been added to replace some blacks screens;
A couple of pictures have been changed to repair an inconsistency in the way Gerti dresses, including the title image;
If you run into a bad ending (there aren’t many and they are very obvious), there is a separate screen and some explanation;
Correction of a few typos

If you have played the prologue earlier, it should run fine from any save you made. If not, please let me know.

Episode 2 is added, spanning the full first day on Earth.

Developer Notes:

Some people have asked me if there will be NTR in Venus Attracts. It seems that there are many definitions of NTR, so I can’t give you a simple yes or no.

Venus Attracts will not have NTR as a fetish. It is not my aim to make you feel jealous about any of the girls or aliens portrayed in this story. I think jealousy is the core aspect of NTR. However, there will be jokes about the subject. After all, Venus Attracts is a comedy about women doing research on male behaviour. How can they probe guys if there aren’t any prime and less prime examples around?

I wrote the premise of Venus Attracts out of a feeling of injustice. Why is it OK for a guy to fuck every member of the opposite sex he meets and why is it not OK for girls? How come that every girl with a half interesting love life is portrayed as a slut or a brain-dead bimbo? Why can’t intelligent girls have sex unless they are drugged, blackmailed or violated?

So if you really can’t stomach the presence of obtrusive guys in the proximity of any girl whatsoever, this might not be the game for you. There are many other games where you can immerse yourself in being the only attractive guy on Earth. If you like to know how women from another planet perceive us guys, you might find Venus Attracts funny and interesting.

Venus Attracts is meant to be a comedy, please don’t take it too seriously.
