As we described in one of the last posts, we’ve started focusing on different activities that allow you to build relationship with girls.
WE KNOW that at current stage it looks a little bit grindy, BUT note that it took time for us to just set up the idea, system etc. We need this to have a ground for next updates, activities, events and quests.
In this build:
* 2 new animations with Diana, the Nun after final scene in Temple;
* 2 new animations with Gina, the Vendor.
* each girl has a Relations rate. The girls would not tell you all the secrets or have intimacy with you right after meeting a stranger. You’ll have to earn their trust.
* now you can actually buy goods at the Twin Goods store. You’ll need to buy exactly what you need if you would like to help Talena in supplying the kitchen. And thus – increase relationship with her.
* some events can give you temporary discount in the Twin Goods store. You’ll now see the rate when talking to Gina
* now you start the game with 10 Gold.
* now you start the game with 12 Attribute Points to distribute. This is a temporary feature and this number will be decreased when we’ll add more ways to earn Attribute Points. Hint: do not spend them from the start. Store them until you see that some action requires you to have specific Attribute rate.
* activities available with Talena, the Cook:
Help: wash up;
Event: find an earring (quest in progress);

Event: slipping glass (Dexterity check);
Help: go for groceries (check Quest logs to know what exactly to buy in the Twins Goods store);

* Strength and Alertness check:
Gina asks you to help her in the basement. This girl can’t hold hersels watching strong men working…
* First minigame – 15 puzzle game while helping Gina in the basement.
* The game now has a Main Menu, languages are selected at the start of the game and could be changed while playing. Note, that Russian localization could have some mistakes and/or typos.
* At the Main Menu you’ll find a Gallery where all your unlocked illustrations and animations will be available to check anytime you want.

* We have a new soundtrack – one for the main theme, another one especially for Patroling and Battle
* New event – while you are working on repairing Twins’ House, Germina is cleaning a house… wearing very tight pants…
* New event – one night someone will try to open your door in the Tavern…
* New event – while you are working on repairing Twins’ House, you can find a very interesting drawing of one of the twins sleeping deeply. But who made it? Is it Gina or Germina?
* New character added: Captain Alanya.
! To meet with her you’ll need to have Recommendations!
Recommendations could be earned by passing the quest with Inquisitor – she provides you with them when she leaves pregnant with Laval

! Fighter class starts the game with Recommendations.
After test fight with Alanya:
Come to Post at night and choose ‘Patrolling’ – select the difficulty and…
Patrol night Slutholm. Strength makes you run faster, Perception provides a bigger vision radius.
Find criminals and start fighting!
Now when the battle is finished you can go patrolling again or go to sleep. We are working on rewards and events for this.

We’ve added a battle system to the game. We think it opens lots of new possibilities to the game.
Please, note that we’ll definitely work on improving it.
And, please if you have any specific ideas of how to do it, let us know.
* Weapons added to the game (not everything is available from the start, but available for the test):
Weapons: axe, knife, rapier, bow, sword, halberd, staff, club, mace
Armor: leather armor, chainmail vest, chain mail, plate armor, shield
To equip weapons, visit the Character section and click free hands to choose the weapon to equip.
Your starting Weapons are determined by your Background.
* Icons for new and old items of inventory added;
* New background – night streets for battle while patrolling;
* Before the battle autosave is performed;
* At the start of the game now there is Load Game instead of Continue game
* Now empty bottles are counted to total money spent in Warm Place
* If something goes to your Inventory, you see the icon of what is coming there
* If you have new info – quests, notes, etc – you’ll see a notification NEW at NOTES section.

This is the place where we’ll work on Alchemy – it will be required to proceed with this storyline;
* Now, after having a good time with Gina, you’ll get Reputation.
* New sprites for Nahanna, when Priest catches you two pleasing yourself – shy and with panties in hands… wet panties…
* Now drinking with Frida will require 80 gold, and to drink with her and waitress (soon be added) will cost you 300 gold (in progress);
* Reputation requirement to drink with Frida, the Innkeeper is reduced to 5;
* Guards have been added – meet three brave soldiers each one of which is available during three different day times.
* Elise Niles has been added to the game – (yes, that nun from Brothel City 😉 ) – try to find out where and how to meet her!

* Now you can transfer save files with your progress to the newest versions of the game!
To do so simply copy-paste the saved files from Slutholm_DataSaves directory.
* After saying goodbye to pregnant Inquisitor, you’ll get +2 to Reputation; +20 to relations with Frida, the Inkeeper;
* New starting dialogues with Talena;
* Sunshine map of the town for the morning;
* When you’ll achieve 30 Temple Favor, you’ll get +1 Reputation;
* You can see your Main Hero during dialogues when it is reasonable.
* Now you get +1 gold every time you help Talena;
* Match 15 game has now difficulty scale from the easiest one when you do it for the first time (a few pieces to move) to the hardest one at the last, pre-animation game;
* When the first Nahanna quest is completed you get +10 relationship with Nahanna, +10 to favor of the Temple, +1 Attribute Point.
* When you get to activities and job screens, Alice, the Faerie will explain to you what to do;
* Backgrounds of Main Character have been added – choose the starting Attribute Points distribution by selecting whom you were at Academy – Nerd, Acrobat, Trickster, etc.

* Character screen added. You can enter the Character screen clicking the ‘man icon’. There you can see all the abilities and attributes and so on about your alter-ego. Also, you can spend Attributes Points there, and see how your character will change.
Please, note, that we’ll continue working on these attributes after the release of this build.
* Quests interface and functionality added. You can find the new icon for Notes and Quests at the top-left corner of the screen.
Quests are added when they are got and disappear when they are complete.
Notes are… well, notes that the Player Character takes when he sees/hears something interesting. Each new note is added at the top of the Notes list. You will see the animation of a floating note icon when the new one is added.
* You can’t just pass the night time anymore. You’ll need to find a place to sleep – now you are able to rent a room in the Inn to sleep at night for 1 gold.
We are thinking of an event that when you’ll try to sleep on the streets for the first time, the Captain will take you to the prison, but this could not be a regular possibility – first, you can lose Reputation because of being in jail, second, if you’ll do it lots of time you could be locked in jail for a long time (game over). So please make sure you have enough gold to pay your room rent.
* A new NPC added – Innkeeper. She is a well-known MILF around Slutholm. She is also known to be kind to those who spend enough money at the Tavern – telling more and more rumors, or even… [to be developed].
The tavern is also 24/7 open now.
* To avoid a situation where you spend all your gold and cannot spend night time without a possibility to rent a room, now a temporary ‘work’ added – talk to Gina about it. In the future, we’ll add a few works that will depend on your skills.
* A new parameter – Reputation has been added. You can check it at the Character screen.
Currently, it is under development, as well as the situations and events that will change it.
The reputation would be necessary for triggering some kind of specific events or for unlocking some kind of actions.
For example, Innkeeper will not drink with someone she is not familiar with enough.
* Now, when you get gold, you’ll see an animation of a gold icon floating to the gold indicator.
* Now the Tavern becomes unlocked after your first talk with Talena;
* When you unlock twin’s house location now you see the explanation popup.
* In the Inquisitor’s dialogues all God is exchanged with Goddess;
* Animations now have buttons to control the animation speed and proceed to the next scene;
* Now in Dialogues you’ll see the name you entered at the start of the game instead of ‘Player’;
* Player Character portrait added;
* Popup ‘Press H to hide interface’ added;
* Now at the daytime indicator you’ll see only current one and the next one;
* Now you can always see how much gold you have – even during dialogues;
* Laval is removed from the scene of Tavern when he says he has to go;
* When Talena for the third time asks you to bring cucumbers, the List of Goods is not given to a Player anymore, because she asked for cucumbers only.
* Popup with an explanation of the Daytimes added.
* You can’t start the game with empty Player Name when you are asked to type it at the start of the game.
* Bug when you couldn’t enter the name at the very start of the game fixed.

Unlike Brothel City (city-builder game), Slutholm starts as a visual novel with more gameplay features that will be added in further future. Keep an eye on our development notes on the Patreon page.
The game is still under development, the first test build was released on April, 13th 2020.
