Until Grades Do Us Part [v0.9] [NNDanny]
Play as Yuu, an university student who is part of a baseball team, as he starts a new year along his childhood friend and neighbor. During the first week, he also meets an aspiring mangaka, a mysterious girl who wants to join the baseball team, a really rude but attractive girl and a strange dog-clothed girl.
As Yuu, you can move around your house, manage your money, study, train for baseball, and spend time with your friends!
Make sure you balance your life between studying, working and other things so you always have time for them!
- Added a certain cheat code input combination at the main menu that unlocks the Sunday skip. Use it if you lost your save file or simply want to experience the game loop!
- Changed the ‘Play videogames’ option entirely. Hope you like it, and please report any bugs to me directly.
- Partially added sound effects to the baseball minigame. It’s still WIP, so it will be gone over once we get to write its story.
- Reworked the stats system to streamline how to progress. (Stats can still be too high for the time being, so they probably will be adjusted later on)
- Incenses other than the personal ones now work as intended.
- Added some extra scenes. I’ll be vague and say that if you can’t get them, you should feel proud of yourself.
- Game has been polished quite a few. It should run better on computers now.
- Added one scene per character. To access it, Lust must stay above a threshold. When you see it drop down, look around.
- (If raising the lust is too hard, there’s a rumor about a certain plant that may help you out once they move in)
- Mood rework: Now can go from -50 to +50. Changed date condition for Amari, Chiko, Kiaru and Shiba.
- Mood rework: Actions that lose mood will lose more when above 0 and less when below. Actions that gain mood will gain more when below 0 and more when above.
- Mood rework: Character no longer oscilate towards 0 at the beginning of the day.
- Nerd notes: Due to this change, the value you gain sometimes won’t reflect the actual mood you gained (+1/-1). This is because the game keeps internal check of decimals, even if it displays it as a whole number.
- Interaction: Flirt: Expanded the options.
- Interaction: Flirt: Made it easier to get love.
- Interaction: General: Made it harder to get love out of regular actions.
- Phone: Call Naosa: Now can recover or add some Stress.
- Phone: Call Mom: Now can recover or add some Stress.
- Fixed a bug that would allow you to play the available date several times in a row.
- If the character went to sleep and you were already inside their room, you could stay there until you left by yourself.
- Characters now properly gain and lose both mood and the dirty state at the beginning of the day, even if said day is weekend.
- Characters now properly gain and lose both mood and the dirty state when scheduled events play.
- Player will now properly gain the Headache status effect if the conditions are met during weekends.
- Players shouldn’t be able to open the Save menu during minigames.
- Some characters didn’t give stats when interacting with them during weekends. Now they do.
- Under some conditions, characters would receive and lose double stats if they used x2 during week interactions, but then interacted with the character on weekends or at school.
- Added a tutorial on Baseball to the likes of the ones at Work.
- Added confirmation for SPECIAL scenes.
- Players will receive two different messages on Weekends when cleaning the house, telling them when the house is fully cleaned.
- Players can’t clean the house if it’s already maxed out.
- Allowed player to not play the SPECIAL scene if available.
- Allowed player to go back to Weekend menu if they don’t want to interact with the character after choosing to do so.
- SPECIAL scene now skips the rest of the day. (While this shortens the game time, it’s also more in-tune with what happens on dates).
- Can now only call Naosa and mom once per day.
- Cannot use the phone while in toilet, laundry or bathroom.
- Improved ‘Call Mom’ and ‘Call Naosa’ to get something in return from doing the action.
- Changed the date player so it mutes the song playing before it plays the date.
- Time ticks a bit faster now.
- Tweaked weekends, transitions should be better now.
- Right clicking or pressing ESC during a choice menu will open the Save menu, as per usual.
- Status effects: When under the effects of “Tired”, the game would constantly crash until cleansed.
- Date system: If you tried to play the date by unlocking the SPECIAL option during weekends, the game would crash.
This project is an EARLY ACCESS DEMO, and as such, can be updated quite frenquently, adding new things to do. Make sure you leave your opinions in the comments, as those can, and will, influence how we go around developing this game.
