The initial encounter with one’s supervisor proved, well, singular. Strict regulations governed what could and could not be brought onto the premises, emphasizing arrival only at the start of the night shift, a prohibition against leaving before its completion, and other peculiar stipulations within the company contract. It was as if GAZON deliberately obscured the true nature of their operations.
The warehouse interior, during the night hours, was unsettlingly vacant, punctuated only by the incessant hum of the lights and a pervasive unease that suggested one was not alone. What, one wondered, was truly occurring in this place? It fell to the night guard to unravel the mysteries concealed within these warehouse walls…
