Developer Notes:

Hey! I’m Matt Morlan, the solo dev behind Hot Hellscape.

This project started as a random joke. a late-night idea about mixing chaotic bullet heaven gameplay with a sexy, over-the-top world inspired by old adult cartoons. I didn’t expect it to turn into an actual game, but here we are.

This demo is basically the first playable slice of that vision. It’s short, messy, and definitely not balanced yet, but it already shows what I’m aiming for: wild combat, stupid humor, and a world that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Everything you see here was made by me during my free time: gameplay, UI, dialogue system, and overall direction. The art currently uses AI-generated visuals as placeholders; they’ll be replaced with original artwork as the project grows.
