FaithBound 2: Build Your Faith, Break the Rules
In FaithBound 2, you take control of the decaying Temple of Aphrodite, an unconventional cult hiding behind the facade of a cathedral by day. Gather funds, grow your following, and invest your “harvest” into upgrading the temple, all while keeping the authorities off your scent.
Expand your religion through weddings, baptisms, sermons, and other events that allow you to reach a wider audience. You’ll need to maintain appearances to avoid unwanted attention!
When night falls, the temple only gets more interesting… Participate in wicked ceremonies, summon creatures through dark rituals, or initiate new nuns into your faith. Only these activities will generate the profit needed to pull a forgotten religion out of ruin.
Once you’ve collected your (perfectly legal) hard-earned money, you can invest it in numerous temple renovations. As you progress, you’ll unlock new possibilities, such as tending to your own garden or sending missionaries to do the dirty work.
- New Random Events: Character Chats.Events that
help you get to know the cast better and, if the opportunity arises,
build more intimate relationships or just listen to completely absurd
stories.- 4 events available for Amari and Daria respectively (unlockable starting at Fame Level 5).
- 1 event available for Yoko (unlockable starting at Fame Level 6).
- 2 events that appear based on the type of clothing you are wearing.
- Clothing Mod Support:It is now possible to
create or add clothing mods to FaithBound 2 without needing any
programming knowledge at all. Details can be found in the “How to mod”
folder. - Clothing Perception System:Clothing now has
the power to change what others think of you based on status, dominance,
and perceived attractiveness. This mechanic is currently only used in
two events, but it is expandable and fully compatible with mods.
- Fixed an error that occurred during Amari’s arrest.
- A message now appears to notify you of Double Energy days (thanks to Dark Kiwi for the suggestion).
- Removed a malevolent entity that was trying to take over the game.
- New Night Activity: Exhibitionism (available starting at Fame Level 6).
- New Day Activity: Find the Troublemakers (available starting at Fame Level 6).
- New Outfit: Exhibitionist set (available for all 3 protagonists).
- Data Transfer: You can now transfer your save data from FaithBound to FaithBound 2.
- Alchemy Fix: Resolved an issue that prevented brewing more than one potion.
- Missionary Bug: Fixed a bug that prevented sending out missionaries with the “Precocious” trait.
- Calendar Events: Events are now only accessible via the Calendar menu if you have previously viewed them.
- Android UI: Improved several interface elements for the Android version.
- Mission Feedback: A new image will now appear in the Missionary menu to indicate when a mission has been completed.
- Visual Updates: Updated several missionary images.
