You rent a room in the Voss house. Every dinner is rehearsed, every door closes at the same hour, and everyone under this roof is hiding something. So are you.
You play as a woman, as a man, or as someone still deciding, and that choice is a real fork rather than a label: different scenes, different writing, different reactions from everyone in the house. Your body, your style and your identity shift with what you do, stage by stage, and the mirror shows you every step.
In 1.0.3 the city opens. Five new places, each unlocked by something you learn at home: the AI Center and its simulation chair, Raven’s lingerie boutique, the Arts Campus, the Party House and the club.

Installation:

No installation needed. Extract the archive and run the game from the extracted folder, not from inside the zip.

Windows: run SynveliaIll.exe

Mac: right-click the app and choose Open the first time (the app isn’t signed with an Apple certificate). If macOS says the app is damaged, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Linux: run SynveliaIll.sh (chmod +x it first if it won’t start)

Android: install the APK (allow installs from unknown sources when asked). Options are in the in-game phone, under Settings. Install new versions over the old one; your saves stay.

Saves are stored outside the game folder, so you can delete and re-extract a new version without losing progress.

Save and load. This was the big one. Loading a save put you back near the start of the game and wiped your progress. The cause was structural: the game’s main loop ran on screens instead of dialogue, and the engine doesn’t create save points on those screens. Fixed in every interaction loop in the game.

UI build issue on Linux, Mac and Android. Some players saw overlapping text layers that made the interface unreadable. The game built parts of the UI at runtime in a way that only resolved correctly on Windows. Fixed.

Mac build. The app shipped with the engine’s default bundle identifier, which could make macOS confuse it with other games made with the same engine. It now has its own identity. It’s still unsigned, so on macOS 15 and later you’ll need Terminal (xattr -cr /path/to/app) or System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway”; the old right-click → Open trick no longer works on newer macOS versions.

The identity bar showed the wrong number. Acting masculine seemed to lower your masculinity score, because the bar always showed the feminine side. It now reads from the center outward: 0% at neutral, rising in either direction.

Three phone conversations were unreachable; their thresholds were set above the highest value the game can reach. They work now.

The computer’s balance meter sat around 50% no matter what you did. It now reflects your real progress.

A note on the art, up front:

The visuals are generated with AI tools and hand-edited. The story is written,

designed and directed by a human. I’d rather say that in the first line than

have it come up in the tenth reply.

A new update every month. Next: dressing your character (wardrobe, shop, the mirror shows what you wear) and Lina’s lessons. Early supporters play each update a month before it goes free for everyone. Nothing stays locked forever.
