EMBERBOUND [Demo v0.46] [Oraclysm Games]

October 6, 2026F95

The Ember has gone cold, and the Hush is spreading through the ashlands.
You wake with a spark of it inside you, and the town of Emberhold needs someone who can still burn.
EMBERBOUND is a 3D action RPG with real-time combat, a hand-built world and companions you fight beside, grow close to and bond with.
Explore ashen wastes, drowned fens, burning villages and a dungeon under the Hush. Forge and enchant your gear, travel by portal scroll, and bring your kindred home.
This is a DEMO of the first chapter. It ends after the Hush Hollow conclave.

Developer: Oraclysm Games – Discord – X (Twitter) – Itch.io

Censored: No

Version: Demo – 0.46

OS: Windows, Linux

Language: English

Genre:

3D Game, 2DCG, AI CG, Animated, Male Protagonist, Adventure, Combat, Fantasy, Rpg, Romance, Monster Girl, Vaginal Sex, Oral Sex, Anal Sex, Group Sex, Sharing, Multiple Penetration, Handjob, Titfuck, Masturbation, Voyeurism, Bdsm,

Installation:

Windows: extract the zip and run emberbound-adult.exe.

Linux: extract the tar.gz and run ./emberbound-adult.x86_64 (Vulkan required; Ubuntu 22.04 / Debian 12 / SteamOS 3 or newer, older distros lack the GLIBCXX version the terrain library needs).

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS (demo build 46)

Minimum (1080p, Low/Medium preset): Windows 10/11 64-bit or Linux x86_64, 4-core CPU (i5-8400 / Ryzen 5 2600), 8 GB RAM, Vulkan GPU with 6 GB VRAM (GTX 1060 6GB / RX 580 / GTX 1660), 10 GB free disk space (SSD strongly recommended).

Recommended (1080p, High preset): 6-core CPU (Ryzen 5 3600 / i5-10400), 16 GB RAM, 8 GB VRAM GPU (RTX 3060 / RX 6600), SSD.

Known issues: GPUs with 4 GB VRAM are not supported. The High preset uses 7-9 GB of RAM, so PCs with less than 12 GB RAM or 6 GB VRAM start on Medium automatically (you can still pick High). The first launch compiles shaders: the main menu warms up in the background for about 20 seconds, and the first “Continue” can take up to a minute; it gets faster from the second launch.

Keyboard and mouse only (no controller support yet). Please tell us your GPU and FPS.

All characters are 18 or older.

Changelog:

Demo v0.46: first public demo.

Includes: action combat with three difficulty modes (chosen at New Game), equipment level requirements, enchanting, portal scrolls, vault and shop with stack moving (Shift-click / right-click), a screenshot mode (F10 hides the HUD), and the gallery for scenes you have unlocked.

Since the tester builds: bosses and heavy enemies now hold their ground and hit back (dodge!), new skills land on your bar by themselves, a controls card before the first fight, F9 asks before loading, quit dialogs show when you last saved, faster and smoother loading, and adult-off mode also tones down explicit dialogue. New in v0.46: the prologue dragon was rebuilt with new animation. She walks and gallops with her paws planted, her shoulders move like a real animal’s, her tail no longer whips around when she rises, and she backs off, brakes and recovers from hits without sliding. Since v0.45: the Sigil Hound of Ashwood was fully reanimated (walk, run, idle, attack, hit, howl and death), with smoother motion, planted paws and its own visual effects. Since v0.44: smoother motion on high refresh rate screens (bodies glide between physics steps), and enemies speed up, slow down and pick walk or run more naturally. Since v0.43: the ash hounds and your own character also keep their feet on the ground on slopes. Since v0.42: the war-dogs’ paws stand on the ground on slopes instead of floating or sinking. Since v0.41: the saddled war-dogs of Ashwood got a new skeleton and new animation, so they trot, gallop, rear up, snarl and howl like real dogs, and the last boss gives the chapter’s biggest kindling reward. Since v0.40: the smithy fight has a new ending, the guide book has bigger pictures and four short video clips, and the war-dogs have their own barks, growls and pawsteps. Also recent: the cracks in the Ashen Wastes glow and pulse as a lava network under the golems, the guide book shows the game as it looks today, and a long list of fixes from playtesting (weapon grips, the flame enchant sound, the HUD labels and more).

Developer Notes:

This is our first public demo, and we want your honest feedback, especially on:

– Combat pace and difficulty (Normal / Hard / Ember are chosen at New Game)

– Zone size: do the areas feel too small, too big or right?

– The companions and their scenes

– Performance on your PC (GPU + FPS)

Bugs and feedback: our Discord (link above) or this thread.

Saves are stored locally; the full game will continue the story after the Hush Hollow conclave.
