The Velvet Raven [v0.02h] [Dirty D Games]
Your uncle Frank left you an old tavern – and his debt to Mr. Salvucci, a man who doesn’t take “later” for an answer. Every seventh night his collector comes by, and every week he wants more. Hire and train performers, match them to the right guests, build the tavern up and keep the money coming fast enough to stay alive.
The Velvet Raven is an adult tavern management sim with training, energy management, guest matching, upgrades, a mob debt to pay off, and dating and marriage with multiple wives.
Heads up: the download contains no video content. The game plays real video clips from Venus Club girl packs that you add yourself – one folder per performer. None are included. Free packs: https://girlpacks.scutterhut.com/

2. Girl packs are NOT included. Put your packs in VelvetRaven_DataGirlpack (one folder per performer), or keep them where they are: Main menu > Girl Packs > Girl pack folder, paste the path, “Use this folder” (remembered for every future version). Girlpack, Girlpacks and Girl Packs all work as folder names. Packs without a Description.json now load too (name = folder name, default stats).

Recommended: 10+ packs to play, 25+ for a full roster, 35+ for Random mode. The Girl Packs screen on the main menu lets you switch packs on/off and grade them.

– Venus Club look values all read now: VERY_BIG bust, THICK / BBW figures, PALE / MEDIUM / BROWN skin, GOLDEN / SILVER eyes, OTHER (thanks Mrakvampire)
– Description.json read much more forgivingly: trailing commas, curly/single quotes, comments, a missing comma, numbers in quotes, other field names (bust, hair, eyes, figure, skin…), heights like 5’6″ or 165 cm, ages like “22 years”. Out-of-range values pulled back in
– A Description.json that still can’t be read fully only loses the values it can’t read, not the whole girl
– Packs unzipped one folder too deep and Description.json saved as Description.json.txt now load
– Portraits never stretched; the big portrait is used in the hiring panel, the selected girl and her profile (thanks Anton Vorobyev)
– “Wants to talk to you” window shows her portrait instead of an empty black box
– NEW Girl Packs screen: name search, sort (name / grade / switched off / problems), Switch all off, Rescan, Open folder; each card shows its main problem (no clips for an act, same girl in two folders, unknown look word, Description.json not read fully); note for packs still in a .zip/.rar/.7z

v0.02g (2026-11-04 – hotfix: room videos, gallery, display settings)
– NEW: Room videos are drawn at the size the room has on your screen, up to the clip’s own quality (were always 640×360: blurry on big rooms / big monitors)
– NEW: Preferences > Room video: Fit (whole picture, default) / Fill (crop to fill, the old look). Gallery clips are no longer squeezed
