Overworld
I wanted to make the open world feel more alive, so I brought EVERY female character we have into the game (Except Pixie, but she isn’t leaving her room. Something about gaming all day?) This is also great for letting us tie story characters together and letting community vote up content. Have fun finding & chatting with them all!

Locations
Simply put, we’re adding new locations for our characters and you to roam around in. The cafe helps bring Ellen into the picture, as well as a place for characters to relax on weekends. The school helps setup Chloe and Mrs Ashton’s future storylines better.

Daydream in Bed
MC has needs, don’t ya know? He can now relieve himself in his room, on his bed, to thoughts of the lovely ladies you meet in Life In Woodchester. You’ll need to seek out and interact with each individual character in the world to earn points, which you can then spend on spicy images.

NEW Interact with a character in the overworld to earn FapBank points. (Remember, on weekends you can also now find characters at cafes, beach, park, etc.)
NEW Spend FapBank points to unlock dozens upon dozens of new pinup and other style images of the girls you meet <3.

Quickies & Pick Up Sex
As voted on, we have Janice, Tara, Lily all as repeatable carry sex options! As long as you have the strength necessary (each girl is different), you can lift them all day long. Or at least a few minutes! Clothed alternatives with different animations, shorter dialogue are also in (called quickies)!

Saving & Loading
(It’s important to keep LIW save files clean and easy for players, so we now show more files, time played, and prevent some save file softlock scenarios.)

NEW Save files now show time played, for easier save/load identification (shows 00:00 for old save files, until you play current build)
NEW Saving & Loading shows 3 rows of save & load files.
Autosave is removed from save menu, so you don’t accidentally overwrite an autosave.
Saving now disabled on main menu (caused soft lock)
Saving & Loading now resets scrolling memory to top
No autosaving on Janice 1-0 or Tara 1-0, this prevents accidental new game overriding on your auto saves.

Announcing LIW Deluxe Edition!
I wanted to find a fair way to make a deluxe version of LIW for people who really enjoy the game we’re building. We have almost over 55+ animated CGs and still pumping them out if you can believe it (I cant!), and some games remove animated CGs just to charge a higher price.
I don’t like negatively impacting the experience of players, so instead we’ll simply create more quality of life and fun as deluxe incentives!

Always Nude Mod (Beta)
Yep, you heard that right. This built in nude mod makes the ENTIRE game resort to using the girl’s nude poses. The reason i’m marking it experimental is because i havent tested all scenes so there might be some pose fixing that happens. Also overworld sprites and certain key gameplay scenes (like Tara punching) don’t yet have nude versions. Should still be fun to use regardless
Oh, and it also works on the new girls (though not all boob physics are in for them just yet)

Nude Mod – All girls pose sprites, during all scenes, are nude poses instead.

Scene Library
Scene Library is a way to view ALL scenes in every character’s story. Yep, this works with the Always nude mod as well! This also does not require any maxed out save files, so if you want to experience the entire game as a sort of erotic visual book, you could do that.
NOTE: This does exclude open world actions, such as spooning sex, missionary sex, etc.

Sandbox

Optimized Texture Sheets
- Spooning CGs were misplaced in default texture sheet
- Several CGs that were in many location texture groups, now pushed to CG only groups, which should result in less texture swaps
Texture Flushis now forced on for certain locations to ensure your vram is squeaky clean.

Dynamic Game Speed FPS
- Admittedly haven’t tested this enough, but if your FPS falls below half, it should force skip drawing frames, in order to keep the FPS in a playable state.
- Now usually this means there’s something slow, incompatible or wrong happening, but it should make the game at least able to be played on slow/bad/incompatible hardware.
Bug Fixes
- If girls are in sleep pose, should always be sleeping on bed
- You can no longer accidentally trigger spooning sex scenes early (they each have various thresholds of when you can sleep in their room with them.
- Somehow missed Lily Missionary scene fix from last time.
- Misc Grammar & Dialogue fixes

The mac build is now verified with apple connect which should prevent any “Damaged” or “Unable to Launch” error codes.

Optimizations

Textures force a flush when sleeping and visiting map.

Saving & Loading is now working (your old saves wont work for this build, but we’re working on backwards compatibility moving forward, after our next update.

Quick Save & Quick Load are working, this feature is for those that like to dig through every dialogue box. You can quick save in one part of the dialogue, then quickload to jump back. Does not actually save the game, only keeps your “spot in line” for that dialogue scene.

Shaders can be enabled or disabled in the settings.

New GMS2 Runtime This runtime should make garbage collection easer on all devices. Will keep an eye on Mobile devices to see if it has memory improvements.

Exposed Dialogue We have exposed the dialogue to text files in the dialogue folder. Want to spice things up on your own? Go ahead! This also opens things up for localization. We’ve only exposed dialogue so no room text yet. Also new lines are not supported, just adding and tweaking existing text.

Well myself, Dirty Sock, is a small indie developer of 7+ years that enjoys all sorts of games, so I decided to make an adult adventure game. I’ve developed several projects in the past but this is my first adult game. Currently, i’m self-funded hiring FuShark, an amazing artist, so any support would rock!
