Be Fruitful! is a text-based life sim about tribes of beastfolk living off the wilds. You play one of them: gather and build, explore, love whoever catches your eye and raise the next generation.
Beastfolk treat sex as casually as sharing a meal. Nobody belongs to anybody: there are no couples, no courtship and no jealousy, just tribe mates who get along better or worse, and anyone may ask anyone. Group sex, orgies and festivals that pull in half the tribe are an ordinary part of life, and pregnancy follows naturally from all of it.

1. Extract and run: Be Fruitful.exe on Windows, be-fruitful on Linux.
2. Linux: if it closes right away, start it with [ICODE]./be-fruitful –no-sandbox[/ICODE] (needed on Ubuntu 24.04 and later; see README.txt in the folder).
Saves are kept in your user folder, not the game’s, so a new version can go in a fresh folder. Export/Import in the game makes a backup file.

Hello and welcome to the first public version of my game. I made this on a whim originally just for myself, but then decided to keep working on it. Because of this, it might reflect my personal tastes too much for a general audicence, but I hope you will find it interesting regardless!

Main inspirations for the game are Eratoho, Degrees of Lewdity, and Broken Dreams Correctional Center.

All sexual content involves adult characters only. The game follows a free love theme and group contexts are common. This cannot be turned off.

The base body sprite is shared between genders, so all men are twinks with small breasts.

Content that can be turned off at character creation:
– Incest: sex between adult relatives. Turning it off only removes relatives from who you (and everyone else) can partner with; nothing else changes.
– Feral monsters, quadrupeds, alien anatomy
– Symbiote: body horror, something lives inside you, vomit

The online version on itch.io is censored: it has all three of these turned off, to follow itch.io’s content rules. The downloads have everything.
