This version marks a significant change, driven by multiple improvements and enhancements:
- Many new artwork drawn by an amazing artist (Diealot) – it will soon allow us to remove all AI artwork and remove the AI-cg tag
- Code reworks & enhancements
- Resolution of numerous bugs (I lost count after 80)
- Correction of countless typos (also too many to tally)
- text formating improvements (including the removal of excessive linke breaks)

With my growing familiarity with the technologies behind the game, I was able to implement these extensive code enhancements. While there is still much to be done and some errors may linger for now, the overall gaming experience should be vastly improved.
New artwork are mostly available in the initial scenes and quests. To fully appreciate all the updates, I recommend starting anew. However, the choice is entirely yours!
A gallery may be added in the future, but that is not a priority for the upcoming releases.

To make older saves compatible, please use the “load last data patch” option in the sidebar. It will prevent any error you will have with older save for the new content. If you were to load from version 1.1.x, please load first the data patch from 1.1.x to 1.2, then from 1.2 to 1.3.

Preliminary notes
This version continues the trend of enhancements and improvements that were introduced in version 1.4. In addition to that, it features a more new scenes and options involving the protagonist’s and her companions.
A substantial portion of the fresh content and options sets the stage for upcoming releases, which will delve into the main character’s identity, introduce potential new companions, allow travel to other continents, and offer various player paths.
For older saves
Please use the “load last data patch” pannel in the sidebar. If you were to load a save from version 1.4, please click only onto the “Data to make compatible 1.4.x saves with 1.5” option. If you were to load your save from an older version, please load the different version in the correct order (from older to newer).

I’m happy to make my first game release. I’ve discovered Twine & Sugarcube 5 weeks ago and gave it a try, as I wanted to do a porn game oriented on monsters and mythycal beasts. It might not be perfect as it was a new to me. I couldn’t put too much time on it and I didn’t developped games before. I hope you will like it as much as I enjoyed making it!
I am planning to continue working on it and have much more gameplay, stories and scenes I want to add in the near future (using captured monsters, monster fuck, adding more images…). I’m trying different image AI generators but for now I’m not satisfied with any of the result I got and my computer nearly died because of it. I stole borrowed temporary few images to make the game visually better, but hope I will soon be able to get my own images.

To celebrate the end of the year in style and as a thanks for all the support given to Beast Companions in its first year, I’m excited to announce a design competition for you all. The competition will run over the upcoming weeks on our discord server.
Competition guidelines:
- Submit your beast or monster penis designs (please ensure the focus is solely on the design, and avoid any explicit sex scene) – submissions to be made in the discord dedicated channel.
- Following the closure of the submission period, surveys will be conducted, allowing all Discord members to vote for their favorite designs.
- Each survey will feature multiple designs (at least 2), with each member having the opportunity to vote for one.
- After each survey concludes, the first half of the designs with the most votes will progress to the next stage of the competition.
- In the final survey (the grand finale), the design with the highest number of votes will be crowned the winner.

The winning design overall idea will be incorporated into the game in 2025. Guidelines for a fair and healthy competition:
- Create your own design instead of using others’; it doesn’t have to be the most beautiful drawing, as we are interested in the overall design idea.
- Refrain from mocking or disparaging other people’s designs.
- Avoid submitting designs depicting explicit sex scenes; the focus should be on the penis.
- Each Discord account is limited to 3 submissions.
- By participating, you agree to allow us to draw inspiration from your design idea, but we will not use the drawing itself.
