Chaos Rewind is a dating sim and story-driven NSFW visual novel blending dark humor, unlikely alliances, and a fully integrated card duel system where strategy, luck, and chaos collide.

Erik’s life hit rock bottom a long time ago. At 45, he lives in an alley, playing guitar for spare change while thinking about every opportunity he wasted.
One night, three lights streak across the sky. Minutes later, an alien woman crashes near Erik’s alley. Wounded, half-naked, and furious.
Her name is Nova, a bounty hunter on the run after stealing a classified artifact. Her tech is damaged, she can’t escape, and she refuses help from a “filthy human.”
But you help her anyway.
What follows will change both your lives completely. And somehow, a card game from your childhood will become a key part of it all.

Free Roam interactions

A character interaction hub. The base is in place; for now, challenging a character to a duel works, while Talk and Give a Gift are still under construction.

Free Roam opens this update. v0.2.0.0 picks up at Free Roam mode; everything from there on is new. (The earlier part of Chapter 1 shipped in v0.1.0.0.)

Chapter 2 added in full. It opens with Nova in the guest room, into the Dragon Flame card shop tournament, then the Siren Song Cafe, and closes on a Commander Vyra scene.
About 800 new lines of dialogue, written and localized to all 11 languages.

New ways to play

Free Roam mode. Explore Erik’s home (14 rooms and spaces across two floors), each with art for up to five times of day. Characters follow daily schedules, time advances as you play, and you can travel the city from a map screen.
In-world phone and computer. Inside Free Roam, with apps for the deck builder, settings, calendar, and more.
RPG mode (CRRPG). A custom top down mode for special events: walk the scene, talk to NPCs who patrol and react, trigger story beats, and drop into card duels. It debuts with the Jade card shop tournament.
Character interaction hub. Click a character in Free Roam to open the interaction panel. The base is in place; Challenge to a duel works now, while Talk and Give a Gift are still under construction.

Warriors of Astral Chaos (card duel)

Cross Draft mode added. A new draft based way to play a duel.
SFW / NSFW art toggle. Switch the card artwork at any time.
Assist mode. An optional helper for newer players.
Skip story duels. Every card duel in a story event can be skipped entirely, with no penalty, so players who are here for the narrative never have to play a match.
Full card art rework. The whole 104-card roster redrawn, with a mix of SFW and NSFW art (some cards have an NSFW variant, others stay SFW).
A bigger roster. Dozens of new cards and several new opponent decks.
Rebuilt presentation. Redesigned board, deck manager, collection, and Astral Codex, plus a new card draw animation, initiative dice, and owner tinted frames.
Patron Edition cards. A dedicated set (“Mecha Pilots” this cycle, 12 cards) redeemable in game with an Activation Code.

New systems

Character Journal. Tracks the heroines you have met, their relationship tier, and a Main Story accordion that updates as you progress.
Progression tiers. Distant, Acquaintance, Friend, Confidant, Lover.
Weekly Calendar. Shows where each character is by day and time of day, with a Today and a Week view.
Quests and notifications. On screen objectives and toast notifications that adapt to the mode you are in.

Art and audio

123 new scene images that build the cinematic scenes (sequential shots and expression variants), across 9 scene sequences.
11 new animations for the adult and story scenes.
97 new character sprites (expressions and poses) for Nova, Erik, Lily, Vyra, Elena, Zorgus, Kraxo, and Hank. Valerie, Jade, Iris, Elliot, and Bianca also get their first sprite for Free Roam.
Backgrounds for Erik’s home: 14 rooms and spaces across two floors, each with art for up to five times of day.

Background fill system so source art always fills the screen cleanly.
Language switching at runtime now updates fonts, quests, journal names, and card terms correctly, with no leftover squares on non Latin scripts.
Save and load safeguards across the new modes (Free Roam state, phone, mid event RPG state, and card duel).
Many pacing, overflow, and continuity fixes across the prologue and both chapters.
