8 new events.
3 voyeurism animations for Kate. She will now be shown in all events in the castle.
8 special tile types that trigger different effects when stepped on.
All maps reworked, new maps added, for a new total of 12 small and 10 big maps.
12 new cards (same as last set with new targets)
Dialogue sprites and some capture dialogue for summonable tokens.
Gallery and a save system to keep track of unlocked events.

Other Changes

Summoning card for knight now places the token diagonally.
Movement for all tokens changed to offer more options.
Slightly reduced cost of token summoning cards and some items.
Moved the Bishop by Bishop capture event to your Bishop’s token.
Some boards revised and extended by a tile, added support for 8 by 9 boards.
Fixed bug, pawn equipment now works as described.
Added an “end of game” warning for the final event in the castle.

Gameplay Changes

Victory rewards replaced by favor points. You still get a bonus for checkmates.
Inventory is now infinite. It will automatically expand by 4 slots every time it is filled.

Quality of Life Changes

Added item descriptions.
Play as long as you like. Game now ends only when you click the room that shows the final scene.
Game waits 1 frame before loading new maps or menus. (This seems to have helped to prevent a freezing bug in Finders).

[Controls]

Left mouse button controls all primary actions.
Click and drag your pieces to move them.
Click and drag items into your inventory, or equipment slots.
Click enemy pieces to see which moves they can make.
Download a desktop version below to play the game in fullscreen.

[Hints]

The rules are the same as regular chess but En Passant is not allowed, and pawns will promote to indicated types of pieces in each map.
You can switch out move types between your pieces by changing equipped items and will receive additional types as you score checkmates or charm enough opposing pieces. Seals allow movement and rings allow capture. A piece must always wear at least one item from its original class.

[Future Plans]

Development for this game will continue! I plan to make at least two updates in Spring and early summer of 2024. All updates will be made freely available after several weeks of early access for my subscribers.
