Confessions of a Sassy Girl [v0.9] [Huninn]

October 24, 2026F95

Ami has one plan: keep her head down, survive, and get out. Then Jessica transfers in, extroverted, fearless, and inexplicably determined to make Ami her best friend.
A character-driven coming-of-age story about being pulled out of your shell by someone who doesn’t take no for an answer, and what happens when you start to like it.

This is a character-driven coming-of-age story where your choices dictate how Ami handles the pressures of her environment. The game features distinct, optional story arcs that include Interracial and F/F (female/female) encounters.

A few things worth knowing before you play:
The F/F arc is not a lesbian romance story and is not intended as lesbian representation. It centers on Ami’s evolving relationship with her best friend and is written from the perspective of a young woman navigating confusion, attraction, and identity. Ami’s journey includes her feelings toward men as well. If you’re looking for a story with a gay or lesbian protagonist, this is not that game.

The Interracial arc is not a fetish-driven or romance-focused path. It follows Ami’s exploration of promiscuity and fleeting relationships. There is no interracial romance or relationship arc planned. If you’re looking for that, this game does not offer it.

Both arcs are optional, character-first, and written to carry narrative and psychological weight rather than to fulfill specific genre expectations.

v0.8

v0.8.1

Removed watermark artifact from a video.

v0.8

The straight path continues with new story content.
The queer path gets some well-deserved attention in this update.
Total playtime is approximately 40-50 minutes to experience everything.

A note on structure

This update branches based on your previous choices. You’ll experience either the straight or queer path in a given playthrough, not both. They run parallel to each other, so if you’re wondering why you can’t access the other route, that’s intentional. I’ve added a Story Path Selector to the main menu to solve exactly that.

A note on save compatibility

Shortly before this release I discovered a bug that made old save files incompatible with this build. I spent a significant amount of time chasing what turned out to be an irreversible issue before accepting there was no clean fix.

The result is the Story Path Selector, a Quality-of-Life feature built to get you back into the story where v0.8 begins, without replaying everything from the beginning. It’s not a perfect substitute for your save, but it carries over the choices that matter and drops you straight into v0.8. Just answer a few quick questions about your previous playthrough and you’re back in business.

v0.7

v0.7.1

Resolves the following minor bugs in v0.7:

Unable to view the “Evidence” video.
Fixed conditionals for some flavour text

v0.7

Jessica helps Ami prepare for her date – but is that all?
Approximately 18 000 words (about 69 minutes of new story content in total if you explore all storylines).
38 unique animations.
Quality of life:
- Added an “Unlock Gallery” button (inside the gallery) that becomes available after reaching the end of [v0.7], provided you’ve unlocked at least 80% of the gallery. This feature was introduced to help players who had difficulty unlocking the last few scenes. This feature will be included in future releases.

v0.6

v0.6.1

Fixed: Starting a “New Game” will now work correctly instead of forcing the bonus episode.

v0.6

Approximately 11,000 words (about 42 minutes of new story content)
2 branching paths with distinct endings
8 brand-new unique animations
(Reminder: this update only contains the single bonus episode)

How to unlock:

Complete the main story
Then start a “NEW GAME”

Details

This update focus entirely on a bonus episode that, in both style and tone, takes a significant departure from the rest of the game. It is something I wanted to try and will deliver a very different experience from a typical VN. It also explores some “unconventional” themes. I expect it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who follow it through to the end, I believe will find something satisfying and rewarding (or not :sneaky:).

The main story continues in the next update 🙂

v0.5.1

Fixed an issue where the last scene in the gallery was inaccessible.
How to unlock: [ISPOILER] have Ami’s perv stat above 10 and don’t go all the way in the scene with the old guy at the club. Then, towards the end of v0.5.1, select “So, uh, how do I explain this? “ [/ISPOILER]

v0.5

About 18,000 words (around 69 minutes of fresh content)
17 NSFW animations
A story focused on Ami’s relationship with Brenda and Jessica

v0.4

Approximately 13,000 words, which translates to about 54 minutes of fresh gameplay.
This update is more focused on Ami’s story and scenes.
Includes 19 new NSFW animations.

v0.3

Main Story Update:

Dive deeper into Ami’s relationship with her mother, Laura
Approximately 4,900 words (15-18 minutes of gameplay)
- Two intimate scenes featuring 6 new animations

New Bonus Episode:

Focusing on an intimate encounter with Laura and a guy she met.

Approximately 1,600 words (5-6 minutes of gameplay)
One extended saucy scene with 6 new animations

v0.2 “Finale”

Minor Tweaks and Trims:

I’ve done some pruning of dialogue and text that felt redundant or didn’t contribute much to the story or character development. This should help keep the pacing nice and tight (and hopefully no save issues!).

About that VO…

I know some of you might be wondering what happened to the voice-over. Here’s the deal: I really felt that the quality wasn’t quite hitting the mark I want for this game. I actually did release a version of v0.2 with all the VO finished, but after some reflection, I believe the game is best enjoyed without it. So, I’ve made the decision to remove all existing VO from the game.

Potential issues with existing save files

Quick heads up about save files! I’ve made some minor behind-the-scenes code tweaks to prevent potential save file corruption in future updates. While I don’t anticipate major problems, the safest approach is to create a new save file and quickly replay through the game, recreating any previous key choices you’ve made. This should help you sidestep any potential compatibility hiccups.

Sylvia’s “Rumor” Scene 2.0: I’ve completely revamped the “rumor” scene with Sylvia (not just replacing the old model with the new). For those who’ve already played v0.2, you can check out this new scene in the gallery.
Bonus chapter (viewable in the gallery):focusing on Sylvia, the hot Spanish teacher (and a “surprise” character). Approximately 8,000 words, which translates to roughly 20-30 minutes of extra gameplay.
- Contains 2 steamy scenes with 17 animations.
- To unlock this new content, just reach the end of v0.2. Pro tip: if you’re impatient, you can skip through the dialogue to get there faster. You’ll find the scene in the gallery.

v0.2 Beta – Rebooted!

It’s been a long time coming, but I’m thrilled to finally release the v0.2 Beta of Confessions of a Sassy Girl – rebooted!

This is a beta release featuring all the content planned for v0.2, except for the Voice Over (VO), which will be added in a separate final update. This approach allows me to gather valuable player feedback and make any necessary adjustments before committing to the VO, which can be quite time-consuming to edit and re-record.

This release marks a significant shift for Confessions of a Sassy Girl. It’s essentially a full reboot, with most images, sprites, and even some character aspects completely revamped. While the core story and my original vision remain, I’ve streamlined the pacing and restructured some story arcs to create a more engaging and impactful experience. I understand that this might not be what some players were expecting based on v0.1, and I sincerely apologize for any disappointment. However, I believe this reboot represents a substantial improvement and better reflects the direction I want to take Confessions of a Sassy Girl.

Revamped visuals: Most sprites and images have undergone a complete makeover.
New characters: Exciting new faces have been introduced.
Character adjustments: Brenda has undergone some subtle changes, and certain characters (like Kevin) have been toned down to create a more balanced and enjoyable experience.
Story progression: a deeper focus on character development. You’ll witness how Jessica challenges Ami’s boundaries and pushes her to grow in unexpected ways.

Game Length: Approximately 10,000 words (30-40 minutes of playtime).

v0.1 – Initial Release

Approximately 30-40 min of content
