This is a story of Elena, a young Armenian immigrant in the USA. She escaped from her country, because of her abusive husband, who was forced upon her by her parents. She escaped with her baby daughter Anya. She worked as a nurse in a children’s hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. One night when she was returning from the night shift she was attacked by a female vampire. She was drained of blood and raped – turned in the creature of the night.
