This is the first game in “E-Point” series (whatever that “E” means). It is VERY unusual for an RPG Maker game.
All game resources and gameplay mechanics are custom-made, you wouldn’t believe it’s RPG Maker from just watching a video clip of it.
It has huge amount of pixel art images and animation, some of which are customizable (changeable hair and eyes color, clothing, piercings etc.) and they’re drawn in an instantly recognizable artist’s style (which I personally like, but it is kinda derpy and may not be your cup of tea – see screenshots).
As for gameplay or plot – it’s kinda all over the place. This game reminds me of bootleg NES-clone cartridges “9999 in 1” that were popular in my country when I was a kid. So there are basically a set of mini (or not-so-mini)-games that are connected with each other through a set of shared resources (GP, i.e. gold points, EP – probably energy or erotic points, “game score” which you can actually spend on upgrades, and plethora of special “box” items that either unlock something, upgrade something or unpack to GP or EP). You switch between these simple, but addictive games to earn resources, upgrade your stuff to make progress in different minigames smoother and unlock H-scenes along the way.
Among the minigames that I’ve seen (didn’t finish the game yet):
– action RPG with a twist
– secret hunting on maps
– some PACMAN-style escape-from-ghosts-in-a-maze-while-collecting-stuff map
– town builder (you go around and unlock buildings and NPCs in fixed places, so there is not really a choice there)
– clicker style minigame where you with your clones haul bricks from point A to point B to earn “game score”
– a game where you catch colored orbs falling from the sky
– a game where you evade from bombs falling from the sky
– …
* I’ve put a star after “NTR” in tags because this aspect of the game is worthy of mention too.
Ntr happens when you spend EP to put shady-looking male NPCs around your town and then send your GF (EP Doll) to work in town’s establishments to earn GP. At night (I didn’t mention that the game has simulated morning-day-evening-night cycle) she can be harassed/raped/seduced by those NPCs. This is fully avoidable – just don’t place them if you don’t want that outcome.
Fun thing is, that when your GF is raped she received XP towards next EP level and “Sex level.”
Anyway. What I want to say is that this is not your typical RPGMaker smut game. This is more like crazy clicker-like game with porn that could be created only in Japan.
Crazy stuff.
All in all, very solid work. I wonder why it has so few purchases on DLSite.
That’s why I wanted to share this. Take a look and write what you think, I want to know if I’m really effed up in the head or is this genuinely cool stuff.

First I should warn you that:
1. English is not my native language
2. This is (barely) edited machine translation
3. For this type of game it doesn’t really matter all that much
Despite the dev stating that “this work has no text”, this is just not the case. I managed to find over 2k lines of text containing Japanese Chinese characters in game files. Well, a lot of them are not unique (for some reason text is copied all over the place, sometimes counting dozens of identical strings), but a hundred or two definitely are. The game is quite complicated as it is, so understanding what you read is crucial.
Most of the text is options, item names and descriptions, sex stats and messages like “you unlocked <something> <somewhere>”. That’s why I wrote that translation quality here is not that important. I’ve already spent over five hours playing the game with my own translation and I believe that while it’s nowhere near a good translation it actually makes the game playable for people who don’t know Japanese Chinese.
Technically, this is your usual RPG Maker MV game. All Japanese Chinese text that I encountered is contained in .json files, none in scripts – so translating this game wasn’t very hard.
Translator++ would probably handle it well, but instead I rolled out my own very simple text extractor and replacer that stores its intermediate results (i.e. “translation patch”) in CSV format. This file can be found inside the archives as “translation.csv”. If you want to improve this translation then write me a PM and I’ll try to help you set up my extractor/replacer program. Or just roll out something of your own too, you’ll get huge respect from me then 🙂
I’ve updated ‘transaltion.csv’ format a bit. Now it supports multiple locations for every string.
“translation.csv” format is as follows:
1. every line is self-contained and doesn’t depend on other lines
2. every line is split into exactly three parts (columns) by commas (‘,’)
3. first column contains relative path from game’s root directory to a JSON file concatenated with literal ‘#’ and a JSON pointer string that specifies a string value in that JSON file; Multiple such string can be specified by concatenating them using literal ‘!’ as separator
4. second column contains original text (in Japanese Chinese) found in that JSON value. It’s only there for translator’s convenience and doesn’t get used when patching the game. Pair “file path”-“JSON Pointer” is a unique key for each line
5. third and final column contains translated version of text in previous column that should be used to replace original text in JSON file
There are no commas in original nor translated text, so you don’t need to bother with escaping sequences (like “,”, for example).
