Etlina’s Principle is a mature, adult game with VN style gameplay and focuses on the theme of the symbyoteliving suit.
Humanity discovered a new type of living organism – a symbiotic life form called “Nox Limax,” which gave the hosts incredible powers. But one year after the successful tests on humans,
something happened that seriously changed the world.

At some point, people began to turn into slimy latex-like creatures.
The city’s environment and its neighborhood, animals,
humans, and fauna changed drastically, changing the land into a perilous place,
like an alien planet with its flora and fauna.
You are a member of the HOWL Squad – a particular military unit designed to perform tasks in conditions of increased danger. On your way, you will meet many local inhabitants,
most of whom may not be as horrible as they are told they will be.
On your way, you will find a lot of friends and enemies.
In the end, it will be up to you to decide who is the real threat.
Who will you choose to support, and what possible results will that have on the people
you care about and the fate of humanity itself?

— Improved Dialogue and Texts

The in-game dialogue has been refined for more fluent English, and narration has been given a more literary tone, enhancing the overall narrative and immersion.

— Bug Fixes

Resolved the quirky issue where the main character (MC) referred to Elina as his sister, even when she was chosen as a childhood friend. Improved the scene advancement buttons in the rest segments. Now, they are more responsive, being activated by clicking on any part of them.

— New Menu System

Introducing a streamlined and intuitive menu system to enrich your interaction with characters and objects during certain scenes. Look out for the eye icon in the upper right corner of your screen. When hovered over, interactive characters will be highlighted with an outline. We plan to add a hint or a small tutorial on how to use this new feature in a future update.

— Secrets

Divedeeper into the lore of our world with optional interactive objects. These secrets, indicated by a sparkle next to items, enrich the narrative and provide insights into other characters. Currently, one secret is available in the first rest scene with the MC squad. Stay tuned for more in upcoming updates!

— Dialogue System

Updated to make conversations feel more realistic and engaging. Selected dialogue options now disappear when returning to the choice, preventing repetitive dialogues.

Refined various visual elements for a more cohesive and appealing aesthetic.

— at the beginning of the game added the ability to choose who will be Elina to the MC – sister or childhood friend. If you played 0.01, by default she should remain as a sister so the old saves should not conflict with new code lines.

Developer Notes:

Additional non-official tags: living suit, symbiote, slime girls.

This is the first serious and long project I’ve ever worked on. Most things, like coding and soundmusic editing had to be learned from scratch (so it might look like a generic Ren’Py game with a linear gameplay :unsure:), but it was an extremely interesting and fascinating experience. So, criticism and feedback are more than welcome!

The first versions are likely to be more focused on exposition and establishing the protagonist’s relationship to the world around him and what is going on. Also, I would like to put more emphasis on the hybrid girls, especially their more or less unique designs and abilities. It will most likely be something like “Hybrid of the Week” system with a new symbiotic girls per every game update. Fans of normal human girls should not fret there will be human girls to romance in this adventure as well.

I would also like to note that in the future there will be no NTR or similar to this themes, so please – don’t expect it.
