Follow the story of Kurou (default name), a boy abandoned at a young age and raised within the underworld by a gang member,
eventually becoming one of their key enforcers.

After being arrested, he breaks free from his past and starts over in a new place, seeking a normal life alongside Ren – a kind-hearted girl who lost her sight protecting him and was abandoned by her own family. Now, the two rely on each other to rebuild from nothing. Kurou enrolls in college and meets Iroha, a carefree and innocent classmate who quickly becomes his friend. He also works part-time at a struggling café run by Nora, a lazy and unmotivated owner. Just as things begin to settle, everything changes. Kurou is drawn into a deadly conflict with malevolent spirits that possess humans. In the midst of chaos, a mysterious girl appears, offering him the power to fight back – becoming a Soul Caller.
