Using the HD App Maker tool, you can also create your own apps that run within the game!

New Content:

• Added a new God Mode feature. Stories will now include character’s thoughts when God Mode is activated. For those playing with God Mode off, you’ll still be able to read your own character’s thoughts.

• Added the App Store. The game now starts with only some apps on the home screen. As part of the game play experience, you may open the App Store and install additional apps, including the Hot Dating app.

• Added the Stories app. This is where you’ll find stories (including interactive ones) that get added to the game, linking to your favorite characters, as well as possibly other miscellaneous stories.

• Added the game’s first story: Rebecca (Prologue).

• Added another story: Meeting Isabel at the Cafe (Friendly Route).

• Added exclusive story (for Peach Emoji Tier and up): She’s got it going on!

• Added the Images app. This is a very basic app that will keep track of images you have/haven’t seen yet, to give you some indication of how much more images there are to unlock. Currently this functions across all apps and isn’t organised in any particular order – in a future release, I will aim to improve this app.

• Added the Internet app – however this is only a placeholder for now.

• Added Awards and the Awards app. When received, a notification is given and you can view them in the Awards app. The “Rebecca (Prologue)” story will demonstrate awards in this version, however in the next release I plan to add automated “ending awards” which will mostly take their place (and appear under “Endings” section of the Awards app).

• Added the PicChat app. This is similar to a “Snapchat” type app, except that this is a basic version of the app (for now). I’d like to add more features but this will be done later on, such as viewing images immediately after they’ve been received rather than needing to tap on the image-message in the app to view it (the first time), as well as possibly a count-down for how long the image gets displayed.

• Added Katy to PicChat app. You will need to unlock it first, but note that it only consists of a few renders for now, and I will be improving this section of the game in future releases.

• Added the Credits app. This is to display those who earn the name in credits reward on Patreon.

New Features:

• Apps on the home screen can now be dragged/moved around.

• Characters can now be assigned a color – this is used only for Stories currently.

Improvements & Fixes:

• Fixed a few bugs with the way lines were read into the program for apps.

• Improved some large code segments, they needed some love.

• When an app or story is locked, it will now appear half transparent.

• Some slight changes to the story. Rebecca mentions she “will be” moving home, but this doesn’t make sense in one of the routes I had written – so now she instead says that she “has” moved home.

• Re-organized the public folder and it’s sub-directories to better suit third-party development.

• Resolved an issue with character names and variables not being replaced in correctly in some instances.

New Features:

Added patron-exclusive “God Mode”. Originally added for testing purposes but is very helpful when trying to explore the game thoroughly and quickly. God Mode currently enables a small button next to messages, that allows you to “rewind” conversations. This allows you to undo your choices. Currently it does not “rewind” variables so you may experience some issues depending on what app you are using.
Added the ‘Run Code’ feature. This feature allows you to add code that will run every time an app is opened. Currently supports most line types. A Developer Warning pop-up will appear if an unsupported line type is used. Note that if you want to run code only the first time an app is opened, this is possible using variables and if statements, however I may later add a “once-only run conde” if requested.
Added many commands to the HD App Maker and game engine
Extended the demo app (demonstrates how to use the HD App Maker) – HOWEVER I have disabled it for now – some more updates are needed for it.
Added Debug Variables. Open up your web browsers Console window to view Variable Values in real time. This is just to help debug for those making their own apps. For example, Chrome Developer Tools > Console Tab.
Developer Warning pop-up messages will now appear in-game if certain commands are used incorrectly. This encourages developers to correctly use commands and prevent bugs across apps.

Improvements & Fixes:

Re-worked coding for better text-to-code interpreting.
Variables (via HD App Maker) are now possible in the game engine.
Player name inputs are now restricted in length.
Pop-up asks for player’s name input at the start of the game (as requested by players).

Hot Dating app is locked until you’ve finished speak with Rebecca initially (in a later update, I plan to have the app either appear as “installing” or you’ll need to go to an “app store” to download it, to enhance the gameplay experience)
