Jezebel is a narrative-driven adult visual novel set in the medieval city of Rosegate, the political and commercial hub of a bustling kingdom. You play as Duvessa Devereux, an amoral noblewoman who seeks to scheme her way to the top of the food chain. The game features RPG elements, branching narratives, and a sub/dom alignment system that allows you to play god with Duvessa’s life. It is up to you whether she will be a master manipulator, seductress and femme fatale, or if she will be humiliated and brought to submit by the cutthroat world around her. Bonus Scene #2

I love this scene and the oddly emotional story it tells. It ended up being a good bit longer than the first bonus, and contains a lot of cool character stuff that I hope will enhance your understanding of the way she thinks, along with some other details about the world. Even the faceless protagonist has a nice little arc. Erika is definitely my second favourite character to write after Duvessa at the moment, and I enjoyed taking this little dive into her world.

I think it probably won’t be for everyone, but remember that it’s only canon if you want it to be! Even if you do decide it’s non-canon to one (or all) of your Jezebel saves, I think there’s still a lot of value here, as you can still learn a lot more about these characters and the way they would act in certain situations. And, of course, enjoy the sex scenes. XD

There aren’t really any spoilers present here but, once again, this takes place during the events of Episode 2. As such, Erika is perhaps a little further along in her character development, which might explain her behaviour being a touch different toward the end. I’m super averse to flashbacks as a storytelling device, so you can probably expect more of this sort of thing in the future; bonus scenes that serve as light previews for what’s to come, but without giving away anything at all. Enjoy!

Developer Notes:

Jezebel is a choice based quasi-RPG that embodies a cross section between two of my big interests.

I’m obsessed with big, ensemble political stories with tons of warring groups, ideologies, schemes and betrayals. Obviously, Game of Thrones (the books, specifically) is one of my chief influences, something I wear on my sleeve. I also *love* bad/villainous girls in fiction, whether they be genuinely sadistic and evil or redeemable tsunderes. This game, with its player choice system, is my attempt to do both. Duvessa, and many of the other characters, will develop differently and explore various different kinks based on the decisions you make. My ultimate goal is to create a game with a genuinely great story that invests you enough in the characters to make the sex scenes all the more outrageous and taboo.

Episode 1 is focused exclusively on Duvessa and her return to the city, but the story will start zooming out in scope and reveal the “roster” of main girls in Episode 2. Duvessa is canonically bisexual, but all romantic and sexual paths will be optional except for one FxF which I came to view as neccesary as I was writing the game (in other words, it made no sense for things to be platonic). However, any mandatory sex scenes will be skippable in future episodes.

Note

The current build of the game contains some AI-generated backgrounds. It is my hope that it will eventually be viable for me to replace all of them with art by humans. All of the game’s CGs, sprites, music, etc. are entirely man-made.
