To patch the game you will first have to decrypt the game files with a tool like this:
Decrypt the game before applying the patch. I’m not going to help with this part, follow the directions on that github or google for a tutorial.
After you decrypt the files put the img and audio folders it generates back into the game’s www folder, the decrypted files should have standard formats like png and not something like rpgmvp.
With those files decrypted you can extract the patch into the folder containing the game’s EXE, say yes to replace all.

Some known “issues:”
The characters in replay aren’t in perfect order. IE: Number 4 isn’t encountered until much later.
Two characters in battle replay are switched.
Save often, there’s a known issue with crashing on some scene changes.

Some bosses can’t be refought? I advise using analyze on a boss then losing to them to unlock the defeat scene.
The prologue is an epilogue :FacePalm:, changed in the attached patch.
