In My Second Life, you start as a shy young man at the end of the summer, beginning a new chapter at Dolton University – a place where you don’t know anyone and your social skills will be put to the real test. Living with the other residents of the house only adds to the challenges. As a typical nerd who seems to attract endless trouble, you often find yourself in even more complicated situations.

Just a reminder that the current version of the game doesn’t have a ton of NSFW content or deep story progression yet!
Think of it more like a DEMO that shows off the new systems, UI, and overall direction the game is heading in. That said, this will start to change with Update [0.1.1], which is focused on adding more scenes (both narrative and NSFW) and expanding character interactions.

️ Landlady Visual Overhaul (Still In Progress)

One of the ongoing improvements has been visual consistency among NPCs — and Landlady got a major facelift. Most of her images have been refreshed to better match the tone and quality of the game. A few are still pending, but the difference should already stand out.

Why There Aren’t More New Scenes (Yet)

Truth time: most of this cycle was spent fixing bugs — especially in the interaction systems. Features like “Talk” were breaking or acting unpredictably, and stabilizing them took a lot more time than expected.

The good news? The next batch of scenes is already written.

Now it’s just a matter of refining and integrating them — and I’m aiming to have that done within the next 2–3 weeks.

Next update focus: pure story content. No new systems — just characters, choices, and deeper world-building.

Phone Unlocked — With New Features!

The in-game phone is now fully available and includes a few fresh features:

The school area has been added, but treat this as a preview — it’s not fully functional yet. Still, it gives a hint of what’s to come.

v0.1.0

This update is pretty light on actual story content because I had to gut most of the old scenes – they just didn’t work with all these new systems. Update 0.1.1 is going to focus entirely on bringing back the story content and adding new scenes that actually use all these cool new mechanics.
You might notice some NPCs look slightly different between scenes right now. I’m still working on the best way to keep character appearances consistent throughout the game.
