Hello all to the 1 Year Anniversary to Pokémon Escaped Emerald! That’s right I’ve been doing this shit for 1 whole year and now it’s time to celebrate.
What about we do it in the most EE way possible with a tournament and a new version!
Version .8 drops today with another overhaul for many elements of EE with major things finally being done such as the long awaited Emma quest to find out the origins of the V gene (This can be continued if interest is there for it)
An unfortunate side to get some content in this update is that you may need to reset your game. I would highly recommend a reset for this version to experience everything new within the game! You can though still play on older save files but please do not post bugs if you do.
And before people ask. THE GUIDE IS NOW OUTDATED! Please do not ask people over the guide. It will be updated eventually.
But now we gotta explain the MAX tournament. (Art tourney is self explanatory)
Both of these are held on the Discord. If you wish to participate without joining the discord, please feel free to reach out and ask questions.
What is a Max tournament? Basically it’s a sprite contest to see who has the best of the best.
BUT not only that, this time we’re allowing ALL MEDIA. That’s right, movies, shows, comics, ANYTHING.
As some may know EE has been very strict on having it be only Video Game characters for the longest time but now we’re allowing anything to be added given the rules of this tourney. It can be found within the discord/asking Ray.
But Ray? Is there a prize? YES. $100 USD for the winners of both competitions. Nothing for anything else!
Even if you don’t think you have skills you can still chat on the discord to get help. This contest is supposed to be fun and allow you to get sprites into EE.
It runs from today till August 13th! (Also, yes, you can have multiple posts)
