Priestess of Ancient Desire is a text-based immersive life simulator set in ancient Egypt, where you play as a priestess balancing worldly needs with divine requests. Choose the path you walk: revel in the deep romance and intimacy offered by Temperance, or gradually corrupt your morals towards the free use and debauchery of Decadence. Navigate the political temple intrigue of 1180BC Thebes, read ancient Egyptian literature, and decide if you will be a Bride of Osiris or a sacred harlot.

Priestess of Ancient Desire is a historical life simulator created with great attention to realism and the setting detail. It offers two gameplay directions for the players to choose: the Temperance path is geared towards monogamous relationships (and/or consensual polyandry), while the Decadence path leans heavily into themes of corruption and free use.
This very early proof-of-concept release should include up to 45 minutes of content, depending on your reading speed. It is a demonstration of all systems which the final release version will include, and feedback is currently the most important thing for me, so please don’t be shy to leave reviews with multiple pages – especially if they’re one star!
The most important development goals are implementing multiple gods – different deities for Temperance and Decadence – adding more characters (both temple workers and romance options) as well as more quests. Planned tags include:
