Content for Abydos for their first day – includes taking down the Kata Kata helmet gang.
There is a lot more buffs introduced with the Abydos students’ new skills! Most of these are pretty self explanatory, however the one that is perhaps the most useful is the attack speed buff. Whenever Serika uses her EX Skill she gets an extra attack and reload action for a set amount of turns. This is represented by the red action arrow, as you are not allowed to move with these attack actions.
Shiroko also has a 20% chance to also get an attack speed buff any time she attacks thanks to her sub skill!
Bug fixes:
-Fixed issue with animations getting stuck
-Fixed issue with shield still being present even after time out
-Several other little bugfixes
How version numbers will be named from now on:
I have decided on how I want the updates represented in the version number from on, basically:
v.0.2.0.0
v.0.Start of new volume/event.Content update in volume.Bug fix/hotfix
So for the whole abydos volume it will just be v0.2 and then that will be iterated on until we reach the next volume.
Next content update will be v0.2.1.0

Features:
Added the other skills for the characters to the game! This should allow you to play more aggressively than normal which will be necessary in the upcoming Abydos levels. Haven’t updated the tutorial to explain these yet so here is my little explanation below!
AP/Normal skills:
Most of these are turn based, which is what the number represents. After this many turns, you can use their skill. AP Skills without a number are based on separate factors, such as Hasumi who can use hers after she kills an enemy. Each student has a different skill, you can find out what it does by hovering over it.
Sub skills:
These are somewhat more “passive”, which each skill being activated based on a certain condition, separate for each student. Yuuka’s allows her to heal when she takes cover. Hasumi gets a critical damage buff when she reloads. Suzumi doesn’t do anything at the moment but in the future will give an attack increase on any enemies that are stunned or have a similar debuff.
Originally this was going to be saved for the Abydos update but I wanted to fix some bugs and I already had this done so you get it early!
Bug fixes:
Hasumi’s titjob animation would crash – issue with export on v.0.1.3
Bunch of other little fixes.

Added an auto save feature, this will create a save before and after each combat mission
Bug fixes:
Have completely re-done the animation system, should be a lot less bug prone now.
Many other little fixes for bugs that were still present in the hot fix.

Hotfix update for v0.1.2. Fixes nearly all the bugs that were present.
Levels should play normally now.
Restarting now works as expected.
Skip combat works when you get to the schale office.

Performance:
Reduced many of the 3d textures. There shouldn’t be a noticeable visual difference here but keep in mind I will be continuing to adjust this over time. Should give a significant performance increase.
Have also changed the minigun mobs…minigun. Old one had a pretty high poly count. Currently a bit bare will add a bit more texturing and animation to this in the future.
Features:
Added a launcher where you can select your rendering method. Forward+ is default, Compatibility is for lower end hardware. Should make the game playable on more hardware.
Added an option in settings to skip combat. This is just until I have finished optimization and have implemented an optional 2d combat mode for low spec hardware.
Bug fixes:
Fixed issue where restarting would cause memory leak. Have fully overhauled restart system. Doesn’t lag anymore but might be a few bugs present.
Fixed issue with soft locking in level 2 if you moved a character out of the camera view
Made the tutorial less rigid to prevent soft-locking. You no longer have to follow each step exactly as it is laid out.

Fixed an issue where you could soft lock yourself in the tutorial if you clicked on an enemy after selecting Yuuka
Performance:
Made some fixes to OccluderInstance3D node, now all the meshs should be occluded, helping performance a bit
Removed objects not needed within the levels, especially Level 2. This will help with performance and hopefully shorten load times a bit
