BUILD v0.24 HIGHLIGHTS
Part-time jobs

Part-time jobs are now available, with the first being Ramen-san (My Whiskey’s job will be introduced in v0.24.1). Each part-time job has it’s own mini-game, rewarding the player with heart progress towards a love interest and money.

New Hangouts and Hangout changes

Four new Hangouts have been added (Satomi, Sara, Mai and Toshiko). Hangouts are now required to be played before the next heart event if a Hangout is available.

Massive UI and Quality of life improvements

A big UI overhaul has been done in preparation for the Steam release. A lot of Quality of life improvements have also been made, specifically during the intro (which now lasts the first in-game week and contains a number of tutorials).

Time change

There is now only one time slot per day. We found this felt best during our playthroughs, making the game progress at a much nicer pace. Further time changes may occur in future builds as we try to finalize the game’s length.

New Sara Heart Events

Sara’s Heart 2 and 3 events are now available! You can trigger the Heart 2 event by visiting her in Shinjuku during the evening. Heart 3 event is triggered by talking to Sara in Shujin’s soccer field during the evening.

New Quickie Love Hotel Invites

Two new hotel invites are now available with Sara in the Emperor and Onsen rooms. Both will become available in the Quickie Love Hotel when you finish Sara’s Heart 3 event.

Note: Sara’s Invite will require you to complete a later Heart event in future builds (when she has more Heart events available). We’ve moved it forward for now so we can access her hotel scenes sooner.

Quickie Love Hotel Manager Major Update

The Quickie Love Hotel Manager has been updated significantly. There are more changes and fixes we’ll be adding over the next few updates, but this change should at least highlight the new direction.

Note: There will probably be a lot of bugs and issues with the new Quickie Love Hotel Manager. We’ll be ironing out any issues in hotfixes (if they’re serious) and future builds.

Save Import and Exports

Saves can now be exported and saved locally to be used on different builds (and other people). We’re hoping in the future, older saves (but not older than v0.13) can be used and converted in newer builds.

Note: This build is not compatible with a v0.12 or earlier save. However, we’ve provided a save you can import to skip older content if you want to get to the new content quicker.

Quickie Love Hotel Overhaul

Quickie Love Hotel has gone through a much needed design overhaul. We’re still not 100% happy with it yet (as it currently doesn’t feel like it’s fully integrated well with the rest of the game), but we feel these changes are a good step in the right direction. Including more main story content with the Quickie Love Hotel might solve this, but is something we’ll be focusing more on over the next few builds.

New Feature: Quickie Love Hotel Invites

Part of the Quickie Love Hotel design overhaul is the introduction of the Invite mechanic. When you’re intimate with a Quickie girl (which happens at the end of Satomi’s Heart 3 story event), you can invite them to spend time with you in one of the hotel rooms. These scenes should feel very similar to the smaller Quickies we’ve made in the past and includse an h-scene themed to the room you’re in.

STORY UPDATES

Added Satomi’s Heart 3 story event (including a number of h-scenes).

QUICKIE LOVE HOTEL UPDATES

New Feature: Services.
- Services upgrade your hotel, increasing income opportunities.
New Feature: Tips.
- Guests tip on their way out of the hotel, gaining you extra money when managing the hotel.
- Number of tips you gain and the tip amount can be upgraded from the Services menu.
- Clicking on guests while they’re in a room will increase their tip and reduce the time they stay in the room.
New Feature: Invites.
- When you’re intimate with one of the Quickie girls, you can invite them to spend time with you in a hotel room. Spending time starts a story moment with the girl (played similarly to previous Quickies), along with an h-scene themed to the room.
- Added Satomi Invites for Emperor and Maid & Master rooms.
- We’ll be adding more Invites in future builds.

GENERAL UPDATES

New Feature: Relationship points (functionality).
- Picking the best answers during heart events now provide relationship points. When you’ve reached enough points, you’ll unlock the girl’s next heart event.
- You can view your relationship progression for each girl in your phone.
- Current heart events don’t require relationship points, but will in later builds.
New Feature: Hangout (functionality).
- You’ll have the option to hangout with a Quickie girl at a location you choose. These hangouts provide a unique experience with the Quickie girl and provide potential opportunities for Quickie girls to meet and interact with each other.
- New backgrounds added for Ueno Park and Ramen-san.
- Hangout content will be added in future builds.
New Feature: Gifts.
- You have the option to give gifts to the Quickie girls.
- Quickie girls can either love, like or hate a gift you give.

- When enough gift items have been added, giving a Quickie girl all the gifts they love will unlock a new Quickie Love Hotel room.

- You can now view what was said previously said in a cutscene.

SHINJUKU AND UENO PARK PLACEHOLDERS

These environments are currently very inefficient and may take a bit to load for the first time when playing. We’ll be replacing these as soon as we can with scenes that are more appropriate.

CUTSCENES

Please keep in mind that we don’t have all the character’s models or animations in the game yet. Our current cutscenes might look a bit off (sometimes goofy) without the required 3D animation or models yet, but will be improved and polished over time.

CHARACTER MODELS

We’re not exactly sold on the way we currently handle our 3D character models (specifically Satomi, as she’s the only one with a proper model at the moment). The biggest issue we find (and some of you have already pointed out) is how we handled her face. We’ll be making adjustments throughout the month to make it look closer to the 2D version, whilst still allowing us to show enough expression during cutscenes.
