The exe was patched to bypass a registry check that makes it complain about not being installed. If you’d rather use the original exe strip off the “.orig” from Silkys.exe.orig and apply the registry patch in regpatch instead (not guaranteed to work). Tested on Windows 11 but earlier versions should be fine too.
The translation was done with Sugoi MTL and contains about 1% manual editing. Correctly handles text that doesn’t fit inside one dialogue box by splitting into multiple entries. The translation only modifies the file mes.arc. The original mes.arc is also present with .orig extension in case you want to play in original Japanese (rename and replace).
