His father sent him away when he was young, and after the death of his father, our hero returns home, to the capital city of Ashbury, to help his family and prove himself in this world. How he survives in this world, and how he interacts with the people around him are up to you.

News:

Here it is everyone, after a long time, it’s finally here. Chapter 1 Day 1 of The Magister’s Tale. It’s around the same length as the demo.

In this update, we have sprites, one scene with music, and a lot of good images. I really wanted to get this out to you guys quickly because it’s been a while since you’ve seen something from me.

This is probably the last time I’ll talk about this, but I want to make sure it’s put in perspective. I dropped the demo last October, then my job and living situation got worse, and I had less free time to work on the game. In January I started looking for a co-writer to help me, and in February I found our writer! Then Chapter 1 was finished. I had tonsillitis for almost the entire month of March. Then in April I lost my job and had to move. Now it’s June 8th, and I’ve finally gotten Day 1 out because I wanted you guys to have this. I think consistent updates even if they’re smaller are more preferential than inconsistent large updates. So for the time being expect consistent updates. As soon as I finish the extra content version. I’ll work on a small holiday release that our writer felt inspired to write. He’s working hard on chapter 2 and already has another special chapter written.

So for the time being, this month will have Day 1, and the Easter Special out. Day 2 will be out next month with another special chapter, A Date with Rhea, for all patrons.

Then later on when I upgrade my PC and have more time to work on this we’ll review how many days will be in each release. IT WILL NOT, always be just 1 day each month, this is only temporary until we get consistency down, and until I can get my rig upgraded.

Lastly, I just wanted to say thanks for sticking with us for so long, I’m a fan of a lot of games, and I know how frustrating it can be when a game I really like takes a long time to update.

I know you all care a lot about this, and I want to give you the best game I can.
