TrickOrDick is an adult visual novel game. The story is set a week before Halloween as you play a young photographer who inherited his grandfather’s house and moved to another town. In this new town he has a chance to begin anew as nobody knows him yet. He decides to throw a Halloween party in this new town, so he can get to know other people better and get known in the small town community. In the 7 days leading to the party, you will be able to meet people, interact with them and build their affection towards you. The game features multiple romances and endings.

Special Anniversary Edition

This special anniversary edition does not include the mechanics of the full game. The story instead starts a day before the Halloween party, with all 4 girls already being affectionate towards you. It adds 4 new outfits and 4 new endings, one for each girl.

-You can interact with her, gift her items, learn all about her and her backstory and unlock a total of 3 H-scenes with this rich babe.
-This woman comes with a lot of baggage so get ready for some drama and a lot of snarky monologues.
-Note: We didn’t manage to implement her minigame yet, but stay tuned, because we have something a little extra fun and special planned for her.

-For when you just need them extra affection points.

-(CutePotato) I thought the old art was a bit outdated so I ‘freshened’ it up a bit.
-I hope to redo some of the older art as we come up with new versions!
New game logo
-(Also CutePotato) I also “sexed” up the old logo a bit.
In the future we hope to make the game branch out more depending on your choices.
The new logo is embracing that duality – dark VS light, good VS bad, Angel Angelica VS Devil angelica, becoming the best bachelor VS the best boyfriend in town, etc.
Achievements
LazyPotato really worked his tushie off for this one.
Now when you do stuff you actually get rewarded for it!
One thing we also had in mind is that some people have trouble navigating this game.
So the achievements also serve as some sort of “guide” for you guys to reach and discover some scenes easier.
They also work on GameJolt and should add to your profile (Newgrounds removed since this is adult game).
Also introducing some new characters who don’t have their own storylines (yet). We are slowly trying to introduce more of the cast so that our Patrons will have an easier choice deciding the next romancable option.

Added new girl, Yui and her story.
– You can unlock her story by buying the cereal in the shop and visiting the shop again after that
Added 2 new minigames:
– Snake: Classic snake game you maybe played on your old phones. Goal is to “eat” as much as possible and accumulate higher score.
– Battleships: You place your ships on the right playing field and start “attacking” opponents playing field. First to uncover all opponents ships wins.
Added sexy flashback scene in Angelica’s story when she remembers her studying days
Yui has one unlocked ending, with both loving and the not-so-loving scenes being unlocked and could be picked when playing trough ending. Save when going this route, so you can see both.
Improved inventory screen:
– you can now see items you own and now it has a scrollbar, so it is potentially unlimited backpack
– You can now see all girls affection in the inventory too, with their images changing when affection grows.
– Map access and money are also both found in the inventory
Reworked ending scene after story
Reworked the way we are showing images in the game, which will allow us to make the game smaller and more portable in the upcoming versions.

v0.1 – Demo public release

Developer Notes:

In the demo version 0.1, there are 5 different endings. 3 of them are more easily obtainable, while number 4 requires the previous endings to be unlocked and number 5 requires ending 4. We had some people play trough the version that was not proofread, but nobody unlocked the extra endings yet. We would very much love to see if people can figure out the last 2 endings on their own, so we can know if we made the conditions too hard. Getting all 5 endings would require at least 2 playtroughs or saves near the end.

In the future, we plan to expand the game by adding more characters, more features and more mini-games. When we have all of the characters we planned added, we are considering to allow the story to continue past the last day.
