Yesterday’s Crossroads tells the story of a guy fresh out of college entering the adulthood responsibilities as he finds himself in an unimaginable situation having to cope and move forward.

The Prologue chapter will take you through how everything started introducing Kim, a lovely South Korean exchange student now living and working here after graduation.
All seems fine and beautiful, until a big revelation changes everything.
The Chapter 1 takes off a year after Kim has returned to her home country, it is time to leave that emotional limbo you tucked yourself into, get out there and start living again. A sudden break up of a long term relationship is filled with hardships and it’s up to you to decide whether you want to get up and keep going or stay on the ground.
Life is not as simple as it seems to be and it’s going to be up to you, the player, to follow the crossroads life will bring your way.

This update brings various quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and extended content. Check out the full change log in the official post.

Due to significant changes in the game’s structure, a full download is required this time. However, moving forward, all updates will be easily installed via smaller update patches if you already have the full game.

If you find any issues, please don’t hesitate to report it here on in my discord server.

Moving forward, I will make all content available on “SS” as well. For those who don’t want to or can’t use Patreon, you’ll be able to download the game from there as well. Additionally, over the weekend, I’ll be uploading all previous exclusive content from here to that platform.

Moving on to Chapter 4.

– Game Client

Added a separate folder with all current in-game unlockable special renders in 1080p resolution;
Removed unused files from the game’s folder;
Reorganized files and code to make updates easier moving forward;
Changed the main character’s name insertion. Now, you can leave the field blank, and the game will default to ‘Aiden’;
Changed the default speed in which the text appears on dialogues. (You can still change this option in the Settings menu);

– Gallery

Categorized the ‘Misc’ gallery selection screen. Although this is mostly complete, keep in mind that it’s still a work in progress;
Rewritten all characters’ descriptions in the Bios screen for better clarity;

Added 5 special renders in Michelle Gallery (Patreon Poll Winner);
Added 3 special renders in Misc Gallery for Cynthia (Patreon Poll Winner);

Extended Kimberly’s chance encounter sequence. This will be available whether or not you went to the gym with Zeke and met her before. You can still decline her offer and avoid moving forward on her route;

Added Alessa and Vera intimate (lesbian) scene. This will only be available if you chose ‘BOTH’ while talking to Zeke in the gym locker room at the start of the chapter;
Reworked various visuals and dialogues in the date/hangout segments with various characters;
Reworked the interactions with Da-Som Kim during the business trip:
The MC’s reaction to Kim being nude in the hotel room changes depending on whether you chose to forgive her or not;
You can now choose to ignore her when she is standing by the window at the hotel room;
The cafeteria and snowball fight scenes will be skipped if you chose to go out with Liv and/or chose not to forgive her.
The option to call Kim and hangout with her will not appear if you chose not to forgive her;
Fixed various visual issues.

If you have played the Prologue already, when you start a new game you will now have the option to skip it and go straight to Chapter 1 (make sure to load your previous save and at least start Chapter 1 for this option to activate).

Branching choices
The choices you make can lead you to totally different paths giving you the opportunity to meet new and returning characters, earn relationship points and shape your personality;
Love Interests
In the prologue you had a brief introduction to some of the LIs, now is time to get to know and interact with them, earn relationship points and set the ground for their paths.
Returning characters
The characters you met in the Prologue are still around, and they have very important interactions to bring to the table.
New Characters
Meet new characters, earn relationship points engaging with them and set the ground to their current and future paths.
New additions:
Characters Bios
Within the Gallery screen you will find the newly added ‘Characters Bios’ button. In this screen there is a brief description of each character you meet throughout the story along with their picture, name and special renders for some of them.
Music Player
Within the Gallery screen you will find the newly added button for the music player. In this screen you can play the musics available in the current version of the game.
The music player features a list of songs in which you can select them by name, fully functional controls with forward, backward, play, pause, shuffle and repeat buttons.
If the music currently playing has vocals the lyrics for it will also be available within the player.
You can navigate freely through the other menus of the game and the currently playing music will not stop if you leave the player screen.
Credits
In the Main Menu you can now find the ‘Credits’ button. Within this screen are all information regarding those involved in the development and testing of the game, credits for each music in the game with external links to the artist’s page and Patrons names.
Special renders
As you play the game you will unlock more special renders, they will all be unlocked in their specific category within the Gallery.
Known issues:
Music player

After entering the player screen you may not see anything, just select a music on the list to the left and the player will load (Not sure if this is a Ren’Py or a code issue, will keep investigating);

If you enter any scene replay while with a music playing the music won’t stop.
