v0.3.6
Made a cute little fuck-up, my bad.
Fixes:
- Pepper scene 4 should display properly
- Pepper scene 4 should save/load properly
- Fairy Ring damage interval fixed
v0.3.5
Interrim patch that was cut kinda short because of irl stuff, so couldn’t get everything I wanted in. More to come, stay tuned.
Additions:
- New scene and some new dialogue with Pepper
- Item chests in the combat minigame(very low drop chance on a regular monster, guaranteed drop chance on an empowered one)
- Item evolutions: Cyanide Capsule(peanut + gun), Fairy Ring(hell portal + mushroom), and Ari & Eri(sock + chakram)
Adjustments:
- In an effort to improve legibility, we’ve begun the process of changing font and text formatting throughout the game, there’s probably going to be a few spots I missed so I apologize in advance
This is the first in a line of patches meant to bring some polish to some of the systems we’ve been working on, to hopefully get Suite 69 into a place we’re happy with in preparation for the Steam release. When that time comes, we’ll have some more information for you all. Once again, thank you for your support and your patience, especially right now, as it means a lot to us.
v0.3.1
Fairly small bugfix patch. Just addressing some of the feedback I’ve gotten, with more on the way in the near future. Apologies for the delay on this as well, between the holidays and some data loss(which was hopefully sorted), it took longer than normal to address this.
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue that would place the player outside the room instead of back in the gallery after rewatching a scene
- Hopefully fixed an issue that would sometimes softlock the game in the gallery
- Fixed an issue where the game wouldn’t pause correctly in the combat minigame
- Fixed an issue where the HPeach upgrade wouldn’t purchase
- Fixed an issue where the player’s crit chance wouldn’t display properly
- Fixed an issue where the player could be hit while in the levelup/pause screen in the combat minigame by red explosions
- Fixed an issue where the player would spawn in a wall after speaking to Noelle for the first time from the lobby
Adjustments:
- Adjusted the balance of several sounds, but I’m really not good at this – please let me know if there are any others that’re too loud/quiet so I can take a look
As always, the bug reporting channel in our discord is the best way to bring stuff to my attention, so if you see a problem, please let me know.
v0.3
This is a fairly large patch. I’d like to emphasize that this is an early-release build meant for patrons, so expect a few bugs to begin with. That said, I’m going to be trying my best to ensure I stay on top of them as much as possible, so please expect a bugfix patch in a few days. That said, onto the content:
Changes:
– We received a few complaints regarding movement in the hotel, and that’s been adjusted. You should be notably faster immediately. Also reduced the size of that giant hallway in the basement.
– Adjusted the formula for money rewards in the combat minigame.
– Revamped the forest level with a new tileset.
Additions:
– Completely revamped the combat. Most of the complaints received over the previous 4 weeks seemed to be centered around the combat minigame, so that was due for a rework. A few people compared Suite to a Vampire Survivor-like game, so we decided to run with that theme and develop the combat in line with similar games. We hope the combat is enjoyable as it is, but want to stress we’re not done with it yet: the immediate updates will include more weapons and armours, as well as weapon evolutions, and a few other notable additions. Please stay tuned for that.
– Added several new enemies. Look out for the dick gnomes.
– Reworked the workshop. There’s new empty space for future updates, though some components are currently stand-in until we touch them up in the future.
– Added a new level. Hope you brought your sunscreen.
– Added Noelle, the sleepy bunny of your dreams. She currently has 3 scenes for you to discover, with more on the way.
We want to thank you for your continued support and patience with us as we worked to redo this major component of the game, and we hope it’s up to standard. This is our first patron build, and we worked really hard to make this happen, and with your continued support, we’ll keep working hard.
v0.2.2
Fixes:
– Fixed a few small issues with the gallery, hopefully it’s working as intended now
Tweaks:
Additions:
– Finally got rid of the drape on the slot machine, time to gamba your hard-earned coins away
This is a relatively small patch, as it consists of things that weren’t quite ready for the previous gallery patch. In addition, this patch was initially going to include a small expansion to the workstation, but because of overwhelming feedback, Togi and I have decided to rework the combat entirely, so expect the next update to be an extremely significant one meant to address concerns regarding the repetitiveness, powerup problems, and general lack of ‘fun’ out in the Forest.
v0.2.1
Fixes:
-Fixed an issue with Pepper’s dialogue
-Fixed several misc formatting errors
Tweaks:
-Powerups now have a decay timer to prevent players from stockpiling them and clearing waves
-In addition, only one of each powerup can exist at any given time
-This was done to prevent players from reaching ludicrously high wave counters, but if the result doesn’t end up feeling good, I’ll revisit this
-Added slightly more functionality and clarity regarding certain UI panels
Additions:
-Scene gallery, accessed through the calendar above the player’s bed

This is our first game, so expect a bug or two, but I’m basically always around and willing to start fixing stuff as it’s brought up. Thank you so much for your interest.
