You are a soldier of Al Ghoroub, a proud desert city that stood for centuries against raiders and storms.
Then the ghouls came.

They swarmed from the dunes at dusk. an endless tide of bone, rot, and hunger.
The battle was brutal. Steel rang, men screamed, and the sands drank deeply of blood.
You fought until your arms failed… until the ghouls outnumbered you.
Retreat was the only choice.
Wounded and hunted, you fled through the burning streets as the city fell behind you.
Claws scraped the walls. Their howls closed in.
With nowhere left to run, you staggered toward the Temple of the sun, its doors sealed… yet light flickered within.
You pounded on the gate as the ghouls encircled you.
Just as darkness claimed your sight, the doors opened.
A priestess dragged you inside.
She sealed the temple, tended your wounds, and spoke the truth you feared:
The city is lost.
The monsters rule the streets.
And you are now trapped within the ruins of your homeland.
Together, you must endure.
Scavenging, surviving, and searching for a way to escape the cursed city of Al Ghoroub… before the darkness finds a way in.

This first build is just a prototype. Right now there are only side quests.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on the simple gameplay loop and style and get feedback on the core mechanics before we move further.
This game is our first project together as a team. Our goal is to start small and grow as our community around us grows.
In our next build, we will be adding the beginning of our Story and our first Boss Fight.
You can also expect more abilities added to the player’s skillset and a glimpse at our Talent Tree with a few choices to pick from.
In the future, you can expect to explore and scavenge new areas for resources, and to use those resources to craft new tools.
You will also find new love interests to romance as you explore the city of Al Ghoroub.
And find unique bosses along the way!
Our goal is to really listen to all your feedback and refine this game into one of the greats.
