The Binding [v0.1.0 Demo] [KDD]
You inherit the Foxxy Hole, a failing tavern in the town of Russet Hollow, from an uncle you never met. His note says one thing: keep the back-room door barred after dark, and read the ledger alone.
You read it anyway. By morning the ink has crawled off the page and branded you Keeper, holding shut a seal that has been quietly failing for a generation. The seal is eight threads, one for every creature-lineage in the valley, and the threads have come loose. Every thread is a woman. Win one back, heart and body, and a piece of the door goes tight again. Lose them all and the thing under the floorboards gets out.
Eight threads. Eight women. One waystation tavern, one very old cage, and an enemy who has been waiting generations for one of your family to fail.

- The art is AI-generated, directed and edited by me. That is the AI CG tag on this thread, said plainly.
- This is the demo, not the game. Act I, about 20,000 words, 45 to 90 minutes. It ends after Aela’s arc.
- Six more heroines exist in code and are teased in the build. They have no scenes yet, and I would rather ship one girl properly than eight of them badly.
- Content warning: one optional side sequence in the goblin cavern involves captive NPCs and implied non-consensual sex. You can leave at any point, and it is separate from Aela’s arc.
- Unsigned build. Windows SmartScreen and macOS will both complain the first time. The README in the download covers both.
- Bugs: post your OS and what you were doing, plus log.txt from the game folder or the save folder.
- One update a month, first weekend. Everything goes up on Patreon first.
