Irreverent Heresy Reborn 0.5 is, for now, the last update until I decide to return.

It’s been over half a decade since I started making AVNs. Even though I’ve always kept a low profile and never really made any meaningful money from them, at times it felt like I had a small community that genuinely enjoyed what I shared within this genre.

There’s something important to clarify here: this does not include the long-time supporters or those who leave positive reviews backed by thoughtful comments. More than asking for anything from them, you can’t expect stones to bleed — I think that much is obvious.

People have told me, “You probably have a lot of fans out there.” Maybe. But imagine putting time and effort into each AVN only to see every new release get fewer downloads, fewer comments, fewer positive reviews, and fewer patrons than the previous one. Again, this is not a complaint toward my Patreons whatsoever; it’s just to give some perspective.

That said, this is also something I’ve always believed: in the end, it depends more on oneself than on the environment around you — especially when you don’t make a living from this, or when it doesn’t really make a financial difference in your life. So maybe I’ll come back in a couple of months.

Release Structure

Tier 4 receives the Free build first (early access).
Afterward, Tier 4 receives the Extended (Patreon) version.
Two weeks later, that Extended version moves to Tier 3.
One week later, to Tier 2.
One week later, to Tier 1.
The Extended version does not get uploaded to itch.io.
When the next Free version releases publicly, it integrates prior extended content into the new core build.

This cycle continues until the visual novel is complete.
