– Movement changed from 1 tile to pixel movement:

This gives you much more freedom of movement and precision for actions. But, if you use a mouse to move, then you’ll still move 1 tile at a time without any diagonal movement. We made sure the game defaults to pixel movement when you use the keyboard/joystick.

– Kate’s sprites now have 6 frames instead of 3.

– We added walking and idle animations: the running animation will come next week, for now she “walks fast”.

– Kate moves faster: I took inspiration from final fantasy 6. So visiting the farm and other places around the island is more enjoyable.

– a new item to Leroy’s shop: “Fishing Catalog”: all info about fish you’ve caught, the place you can find them and selling price. (this way you can sell all your fish/synthesize them and still get to keep their info… in the future I’ll put rewards for catching X number of fish. There’ll be a lot, also monster and mutant fish… mermaids, sharks, giant turtles, whales, etc, and h-scenes, of course.

– new items indicator: new items obtained for the first time now have a small star on the upper left indicating it’s a new item until you hover over it.

– basement rats now have stealable loot.

– Added visual rain: when it rains your crops are watered automatically.

– hedge maze has new messages, loot and fog (visibility range changed).

– warning message before the game title: some countries require this for their adult games.

– All Kate sprites now have a running animation. This took a huge chunk of our time… heh. But it’s done, yay.

– Added the dog intro scene 2 (night visit): Grayscales for now, colored next week.

– Added Fishing: Two fishing spots when you open the farm with different fish and a treasure chest. You can fish in each spot once a day.

– Leroy buy/sells stuff during the day:

– Implemented a sunken chest system: There’s a chance a treasure chest will spawn every time you visit a fishing spot. You can use the better Fishing Rod and a Hook to catch it. Go to your inventory to open and try your luck.

– Added an intro romance/lust scene with Amy:

– Placeholders for the night visits: No scenes are implemented yet, but you’ll be able to visit everyone at night to make love, fuck, whore your friends around, etc. A lot of events will happen as well depending on their status. Maybe you’ll visit someone at night and find they’re already doing it with someone else. The same goes for the animals in the farm.
