This update is essentially a soft reboot of Re:Witch’s gameplay and story, introducing major changes, new mechanics, expanded character development, and additional content throughout the game.

Main Story

Both the Prologue and Chapter 1 have been completed and have been fully expanded to provide more development for each character introduced in the first town.
New locations and events have been added, giving you more areas to explore and more story content to discover.
Many characters have received additional dialogue, events, and interactions to further expand their personalities and roles within the story.

Minigames

All of the minigames have been completely reworked to make them more active, engaging, and rewarding.

Farming Minigame

You no longer need to level up your Farming skill to harvest certain crops. All crops can now be planted and harvested from the beginning.
There are now FOUR different crop quality types you can obtain:
- Normal
- Silver
- Giant
- Rainbow
Your Farming level now affects your chances of obtaining higher-quality crops rather than restricting which crops you can harvest.
A Shipping Bin has been added, allowing you to sell almost all items, with the exception of certain items.
You can now sleep to receive the money earned from the items you shipped throughout the day.
You now have seven different options when working on the farm:
- Inspect
- Plant
- Water
- Fertilize
- Weed
- Harvest
- Dig Up

Mining Minigame

You can now choose which floor you want to enter within the mines, as long as you have already reached that floor.
Different pickaxes can be crafted through the Guild, allowing you to mine more efficiently and obtain better ores.
Every 10 floors feature a different ore type that you can mine.
You can eat food while mining to restore your energy.
Energy Crystals can also be discovered while mining and used to restore energy.
Enemies can now spawn on later levels of the mines, adding an additional challenge to mining.

Forest Foraging

You can now forage for different materials throughout the forest.
Foraged materials can be used for crafting items and cooking.
A Field Journal has also been added to keep track of the different forageable materials you have discovered.

Pet Shop Minigame

You can now play a matching minigame in the Pet Shop by selecting the “Work” option.

RPG Combat

The RPG system has been completely overhauled.
You can now craft and equip different types of gear to improve your chances of success in dungeons and battles.
New equipment and additional mechanics have been introduced to make combat more strategic and engaging.

Dungeon

You can now explore a new dungeon within the Void called The Tower Below.
The Tower Below features an elevator that allows you to quickly travel between floors you have already explored.
The dungeon is designed to provide a more traditional RPG experience, with exploration, enemies, and progression throughout its various floors.

Guild

You will no longer take on missions through the Guild in this version, although this feature will return and be expanded upon in a future update.
You can craft new equipment through the Forge.
More Skills have also been added to the Guild shop.

Shop

The town shop has been expanded with new items available for purchase, including:
- Seeds
- Cooking Ingredients
- Tools

Cooking Minigame

You can now cook crops into a variety of different foods.
Cooked foods can have different affinities that provide benefits during fights.
The quality of the crops you use will also contribute to the overall quality of the cooked food.

Several new features have also been added to improve the overall gameplay experience:

There is still a lot more that has been added to this update, but I think it would be more enjoyable to let you discover everything for yourself.

All of these features are subject to change in future updates based on player feedback. As Re:Witch continues to develop, I plan to keep improving and expanding these systems to make the overall experience even better.

Fixes/Changes:

The second half of the main story has been removed for revision along with Alex’s two route parts as they no longer fit the vision of Re:Witch’s current structure.

Stats are no longer in the game as they will be later revised.

This update is mainly a background update along with being an introduction update for Alex, I spent so much time doing the backgrounds that it kind of became the whole update.

All the backgrounds were changed from boring old google images to Fully Drawn, Fully Colored Custom Art!
