In Salvor DEEP you play as a Salvor dispatcher.
With money dwindling fast you decide to spend the last of your cash on a new diving pod. Now you can only afford a first-time volunteer salvor. She has no experience with these sunken wrecks and is somehow even more broke than you. She will rely on you to guide and teach her about the art of salvaging.
Under-equipped and broke, your job is to protect her (or don’t) from the various pirates, hazards, and creatures that lurk in these ancient wrecks.

– Bug hiding multi debris under floor

I’ll split this into 2 parts:
First Part

Additions:

– 10 New levels!
– 20 New Event Images!
– 20 More Image variations!
– There is an option to change your name in the ‘Home’ area (just in case you want to goof around with what they call you.)
– Mechanic: Other salvors! Time to work together and keep her out of any trouble! I’ll be counting on you to make sure she doesn’t get surrounded!
– Dating events for the salvor: When you acquire enough dating topics by doing missions and interactions you can spend 4$ to interact with her outside of missions. This will gain her food, some unique situations, and stats.
– New tip convos.
– Tutorials now have pictures.
– A new ‘running shoes’ equipment modifier is available in the shop.
– A ‘skip text’ button is now available for conversations that cannot be ignored or halt salvor movement.
– Many more small environment and ambient sounds have been added to old and new levels once you do certain things.
– Gallery mode now stores the top and bottom sizes of the salvor. A placeholder level will now be attached to all legacy images in your gallery. All new images found from now on will be given a Top level and Bottom level. (If you have legacy images then your numbers will increase over the gallery H-scene limit.)
Changes:
– Explorer gear now slows walk speed by 5% instead of 10%.
– To compete with running shoes, the backpack now has a flat speed bonus as well.
– To support larger levels, the salvor now has a 25% slower acceleration rate but a 30% faster maximum run speed.
– Reworked a few images.
QOL:
– A game exit button in the options menu
– Changed the shading on many of the non-status H-Scenes to a pattern that looks better on smaller monitors.
– There is now a toggle button in the options menu to run the game while in the background.
– There is now a fullscreen toggle button
– The home gallery now displays a counter showing how many images you have found as well as all available images to find.
– The home area now displays whether or not there are remaining areas.
– 29 timed actions are no longer frame-rate dependant.
– The following interactions no longer interrupt conversations:
– Equipment
– Treasure
– Food
– Doors
– Trash
– And a few other new mechanics (Interactions like these will be written in gray.)
Fixes:
– Most post-mission dialog now only occurs once.
– Screen effects properly stays off when reloading the game. (After saving)
– Equipment now properly maxes at 10
– Changed certain areas in a few existing levels
– Fixed a bug causing the game to soft lock during certain post-mission conversations
– (Unstable Fix) All diving spots should now have a general reusable re-dive interaction until success.
– (Unstable Fix) Small fix for potential situations where she enters a mission over level 1
– (Removed) Emergency backout button has been removed. This previously caused bugs with other mechanics and will cause plenty more with some of the new ones.
STEAM Users: Because the review process is taking so much longer than I thought it would I’ll be attaching a steam key to purchases of this version.

– Fixed a regression causing the echograph image to only display for up to 5 seconds.
– Fixed a regression causing the first loading of the map to be broken.

ADDITIONS
– Gallery for all discovered H-Scenes. (starting on v0.32)
– A text size slider for the main chat box has been added to the options menu.
– Increased text size in shop and map.
– Unstuck button has been added to the options menu, this will automatically bring you back to the map.
– Increased camera realignment speed by 25% + camera realignment starts 25% earlier.
– A few small tweaks to existing levels for easier gameplay.
– Map buttons now have colored outlines
– Levels now display the amount of H-Scenes in each level. Getting the pink text for an H-Scene will add it to a list on your save file.
– Gallery is now available in home menu.
– Made a more noticeable sound for the diver gaining diving experience + the console now mentions the salvor becoming better at diving.
– The ‘Home’ area now provides tutorial explanations on how certain unintuitive interactions work. (Mission codes, diving percentage chance)
QOL
– Fish icons have changed, the icons now point toward their movement direction.
– Icons now properly hide their description boxes when clicked.
– Confirmation box appears on reset game button clicked.
– Salvor no longer asks for confirmation on picking up equipment and treasure under 10 total.
– Tweaked a few of the conversations to make them go more smoothly.
Fixes (Needs More Testing)
– Responding to interactions while starting new interactions can carry answers over to the new interaction.
– Shop conversations repeating. (This problem may also be caused by saves not properly being deleted.)
– Spamming certain interactable objects causes soft locks.
– Occasional text skipping
– Shop overlaps with map somehow
– Salvor seems to disappear when the echograph screen is exited at the same time the echograph screen appears after clicking the button.
Fixes (Tested)
– Salvor spawning into walls on mission start.
– Fixed a bug allowing spamming the payout button to generate additional rewards.
– Overlaying bug with objects rendering over the echo graph screen on the first level.
– Salvor no longer is stuck after the trip event.
– Levels are now “completed” during your return to the world map. (Instead of when you begin the mission.)
– Fixed a bug generating revenue when no treasure was found.
– Fixed a bug preventing the salvor from loading into a level when chest/ass levels are over maximum.

▓▒░ Meet your personal Salvor ░▒▓
This newbie may not have any skills or special equipment, but with your guidance she can scavenge almost as well as any pro salvor. She will scavenge by herself unless you command her. Build her trust by answering questions correctly to get a special ending. Or take pictures of the trouble she gets into when lead astray.
▓▒░ Game Play ░▒▓
Salvor DEEP is a simple game split up into 3 major features.
1. Sound: SDEEP is a game that uses a high amount of sound to explain the setting and situations your salvor is in.
  • You will hear her footsteps when she walks. You will hear the footsteps of others as they draw near.
  • You will hear her swimming, the creaking of shipwrecks, and many more things I will leave up to a surprise!
2. Interactions with your salvor: She will start small talks with you about life, herself, and you, or ask questions about her surroundings to give you a better understanding. (Could this be considered a dating sim?) Answer questions using your [Y] and [N] UI correctly to build her trust, or purposely lead her astray and take pictures of the H scenes that befall her.
3. Exploration: The graphics will be EXTREMELY simple pixels on your radar as you lead her around the shipwrecks. You will be using her eyes to find treasure with the goal of getting both of you a living wage.
  • Food: She will purchase a meal after each mission, if you find her safe food to eat during the mission then she will buy less, saving her money. If she runs out of money to feed herself she must transfer to another job. So make sure to explore everything!
  • Treasure: When exploring she will pick up treasure to cash in at the end of a mission, this treasure is split between you two and will pay both of your bills. However, the more she carries, the slower she walks, making it much easier for others to catch her.
  • Equipment: You can purchase these for her or she can find them in missions, they allow her to deal with traps, doors, and other dangers. Keep in mind the more she carries of these the slower she runs as well.
Difficulty: This game is much more on the casual side, focusing on exploration and discovery. Each situation you get your salvor in can unlock new art for her. There will be a gallery too if you want to revisit any moments.
