Hot fix incoming! Fixed a couple of the bugs people found so far, still quite a few to fix. There’s one big bug where RPGMaker is causing some performance issues so I’ll have that in the next update. Here’s a list of what I have so far:

– Pressing the “r” key would move the bust to the other side of the screen… which actually is a really good idea. But not intended to work that way so I fixed it. However, I may actually use it as a feature down the road.

– Sequence break where if you entered the exam hall and left before finishing the sequence (or gameover’d and went into the woman’s bathroom) the story would jump ahead.

– Examining certain items after heading back to the hospital would have characters speak who aren’t there anymore.

– Entering certain doors inside the normal hospital would send you back to the Undertow version.

– Losing or winning to Ashley wouldn’t count towards the number of Revitalizations.

– For some reason the game took place on Christmas Eve AND Halloween. That’s been fixed (I thought I fixed it a while ago, oh well.)

– You could obtain the “Shut Up Loser, We’re going shopping” scene an infinite amount of times. Which is too much shopping.

– Dorothy’s Revitalizations were titled wrong leading to a lot of confusion, even from me.

– Assorted collision issues in various parts of the game.

– Assorted typos, lots of assorted typos.

The actions you take will affect how certain scenes play out, and how her story eventually ends. Will she escape with her best friend Ada Hong, or will she become the plaything of the ghastly Doctor Ebert?

– Different scenes depending on successfully defeating/losing to bosses or failing certain puzzles. Not only do these decisions have instant ramifications but Layla will also be seen differently by her peers after she leaves The Undertow.

—–As of right now the game ends just before Layla can leave the Undertow in the central elevator. The next update will include the final area and final confrontation along with all the endings.—-

1.) When will the next update be out?

– Should be around Late September early October.

2.) Is there a walkthrough or guide available?

– Yes, I’ll have that out by 07/26/24.

3.) How many endings do you plan on having?

– At the moment 8 endings. Each ending will be determined based on 3 qualifying factors and how Layla is viewed after leaving The Undertow.

4.) Some sprites don’t match, will they be added in the next update?

– Yeah, I just hate sprite work and save that for the end ;p

5.) Can you play it on Mac or Android?

– I’ve created versions that SHOULD be compatible. But I have no way of testing it out since I don’t have neither an Android or Mac device. I’m leaving it up to you guys to tell me if it works or not :p

6.) What does the spicy version include at the moment?

-At the moment it includes pretty much all the alternate versions of the already implemented scenes. So it’s around 30ish CG’s with spicy, tangy, oh so caleinte goodness.
